Strikes again.

Iowa-Purdue game. 4th&2 Iowa ball. Purdue nose guard jumps offsides, hits Iowa center helmet to helmet. Center falls back.

Zebras call fall start on Iowa. Amazing the amount of ineptitude among ,Big10 officials.

That wasn't the only missed call. Overall, I thought it was a pretty fairly reffed game with some missed calls both ways.

Iowa C might have wiggled the ball...or at least the ref might have thought he saw him do it....or maybe saw a G flinch.

Iowa wins 80% of their games due to favorable calls from the refs.

Do any officials of any sport at any level not suck?

The unfortunate truth is that officials do a great job. The higher the level, the better they are.

They’re not perfect though; and with every game you care about televised in high definition on the biggest screen you can fit in your house, you see all of the mistakes. You didn’t see those mistakes 20 years ago.

Officials see the mistakes, too. As a result, rules have been modified to mitigate some mistakes.

But if you want perfection, you’re gonna have to stick to video games. And hope you don’t hit a glitch.

Idk how the officials came up with a false start on that one.

It was a big call at that moment in the game as well.

The problem with that is they've been blowing some BIG calls lately, ones that effectively decide the outcome of the game. Even after replays that show otherwise they still hold tight to their original call. Bring in the drones.
