From Perlman to Eichorst to Riley...three of the most worthless SOBs to ever step foot on our campus.
As much as I think Bo wasnt a good fit here has a Head Coach, I think the lack of having a player drafted is one Riley and Eichorst (as much as I wanted them to succeed). They had these players for multiple years, and failed to develop them into draftable players. I think both Stanley and Devine would have gotten drafted after another year of the current regime. Both from a S&C standpoint, as well as an offensive fit/production standpoint.
I think it is more to do with changing coaches along with these issues. A lot of the better players transferred when we changed coaches. You can see it in how small and unimpressive the last 2 senior classes heading into the draft were. Very few players from those recruiting years coupled with poor development basically gave us two skeleton senior classes, and very few chances of draft picks.
Prior to stepping foot in Lincoln what the hell did Moos really ever accomplish?
washington state and oregon are better at every single men's sport than Nebraska due in large part to Moos's decisions as AD at those schools
WTF does it matter what he did before he came to Nebraska? He hired two top coaches since he got here and made it look like a walk in the park.
He also hasn't reduced our football program to a laughingstock like the aforementioned.
