Meh. Grandpa mumbled about Ireland being reunified yesterday, and it landed with a thud.
Wales is poor AF. They don't benefit from breaking with England. Scotland can make a bit of a go of it, but mostly they talk about it, but turn away when the reality of what that entails looms over them. England could adapt. All of the other nations already have some level of independence, but rely on England for a lot of stuff, especially defense.
England could refurbish facilities at Falmouth for the subs. They already do a lot of training in countries like Romania who need cash and have lots of open space for blowing things up.

There’s many in N. Ireland that do not consider themselves Irish, AT ALL. My buddy is from Belfast and we went there for his wedding. They don’t take that **** lightly.

Let me guess, protestant? They don't take it lightly. That's why the troubles lasted as long as it did but the majority of Ireland wants their complete independence.

Problem is, the U.K. and British Empire have centuries of controlling their Empire and won't give up the U.K. Someone else's grandpa mumbled some stupid shid indeed, that won't make a lick of difference.
