0-9 would be so awesome. Hell, so would 3-6 and both Bama and Georgia losing in the first playoff game, but I bet they win at least 5 bowl games still, if only due to the matchups.

Auburn is as good as anyone that is in the playoffs.

Too bad they couldn’t put their feet on top of the coffee table like Bama did to get in the playoffs.

Auburn knew they had to run the table, and got beat by Georgia, no regrets.

I don't think they feel snubbed.

tOSU is making a case right now, but I still think the committee got it right. A one loss Bama is tough to turn down, and Auburn was a quality loss.

Auburn is pretty good too. They beat both Georgia and Alabama before losing to Georgia in round 2. 40-17 over Georgia and 26-14 over Alabama tells me that Auburn is a top team.
Oops completely forgot about them even though they have 3 loses.

Rather had Alabama playing Georgia while Auburn sat on the couch...

I understand why it doesn’t work that way when you win you’re division and have to play in the CCG..

If Washington looks overmatched today it will really say something about that conference IMO because Chris Petersen always has his team ready to play the bowl game, so they'll be at their best.

I think game will be closer as a bowl game than it would have been in the regular season because of your point on CP and his bowl game history.

As far as the PAC12 goes, it will show proof that a team like 2016 Washington and the PAC12's 9 game schedule doesn't help their strength of schedule.

Stanford losing to Penny's G5 team earlier this year wasn't an anomaly as the whole conference is definitely down right now as a whole.

This is why I cheer on the B1G in any and all out-of-conference games. Gotta have a strong conference to rule or you are just perceived to be the king of a big **** pile.

Perceived conference power is what gets you or your conference brethren into the CFP. We need our west division to start kicking some OOC a$$.

I think it's unfair to judge any conference based on bowl game records these days. Many teams have coaching staffs in transition, top players sitting out for draft, etc. Overall, it appears many of these kids don't care about the bowl games like they used to w/ the playoffs in place now. In my opinion, this is the biggest issue college football has.....the break between reg season & bowls, bowl attendance & buy-in from players, staffs. The only solution may be to expand playoffs to 16 teams, shorten regular season & make 8 wins mandatory to attend a bowl. I know that's a pipe dream but at least w/ 8 wins rule you'd get almost no teams w/ coaching staff changes & better quality teams & games.
