I'm afraid that anyone who thinks that the Conference will do anything about the officials is being myopic at a minimum. There were 3 calls which were outrageous in my opinion, but obviously none at the level of what the officials did in RU-SJU in the BET. They do review all games and field written complaints from member schools. The Conference has plenary authority over comments made by coaches, during or after a game. They also by inference have authority over speech in any form made by players, during or after a game. That is what concerns me with respect to the player tweets since removed. One of the comments in the tweet was made in haste and unfortunately can be viewed as egregious. The Big Ten has acted in a leaderless manner since August in football. No clue as to what they will, if anything about that. But the officials will be free and clear without doubt.

Not even thinking about it. Nothing ever is done and now formerly at #11 we can toss the ‘well it’s just sorry Rutgers so who cares if we screw them’ theory.

Ever consider the reason nothing ever happens to officials is they are doing what is asked of them?

These 3 will be doing games tomorrow with no consequences. The worst part is these 3 stooges don’t have to talk to the press or explain the r calls they made but Geo Baker has to talk about it

I’m sure plenty of west coast and southern voters just look at the score and move us down to the 20s

The league is going to prop up as many home court wins for NCAA caliber teams as possible. You can have the tempo of the game dictated to a team, based on how the refs will hammer a team.

Ohio State losing a home game is bad for B1G business. Beating a Top 15 team, adds to their resume down the road. It has been how the league has been governed for decades.

Winning at Maryland or Nebraska is one thing...winning with a fair whistle at Ohio State, Michigan, Indiana or another ranked team on the road is not how this league operates. Myles should not have been in the game but Young getting dumped on that dunk attempt, not Myles fouling out was the key. At least Pike got the T for our guys.

Going forward, there's a reason why the B1G doesn't win national championships....and in part it's because it has a larger interest of referees being directed or asked to make sure as many resumes are in play as possible, for the teams that are going to be in NCAA contention. If some of these games were called properly the disparity would be worse in favor of the favorites.

6 losses will win the conference...A 9-1 home record with a .500 road B1G record is the best anyone usually gets to.

I don’t even take the last 10 minutes seriously ; it was no even reflective on how we played because of the biased horrible calls. If you look at the first 30 minutes , that’s how good of a team we are . My guess is these guys are so fired up and we beat Purdue by 20 plus

What was said, Richard.

This was an abomination to watch. I'm sure far worse to play in.

We need to regroup and hopefully heal and knock Purdue on their heels. Need to move on

I’m guessing we pummel Purdue by 20 plus. Our guys will have more of a chip in their shoulder and no way we get hosed that bad at home after this monstrosity

That would be the best possible outcome.

We need to get healthy, and especially Cliff because we cannot throw Douc out there. I realize we sucked then but hard to figure out how we lasted a year with Douc starting every game his freshman year. I felt bad for Douc. Had to be pretty humiliating how he was being exploited.
