ACC Network is brutal. Announcers are uninformed, bland, and often dead wrong. Oh yeah, ACC homers, too.
Matt Millen is tolerable compared to these ACC homer announcers
I keep yelling at the announcers foe their lack of insight. At one point langan was in the field at 4th down and they’re wondering why we took the delay of game. It was obvious to everyone we were trying to draw them off side and if not give Korsak some breathing room.
Sorry fellas but besides gamedays B1G network is nothing to brag about. It is well behind SEC/ACC network in content...
Game days are the only time I’d watch any of them so that’s the most important imo

Btw just noticed the BTN overflow channels in the guide for tonight’s games. It’s actually a line in the YouTube TV guide unlike last week. The fact that our game got moved must’ve screwed it up. Thats good though in the future if it’s necessary. Much easier to use like that instead of fishing to navigate to it.
You mean the Ohio State Network. With their loss today, the focus will shift to Penn State or Michigan. Or Iowa if they win. Rutgers may get two minutes.

Production level was weaker for sure. Lacking replays of key moments like the unsportsmanlike call on Babers that was HUGE. 1st down line in the wrong place, 2nd and 14 being listed as 2nd and 12... amateur hour.

I can't say I like BTN
ACC network was almost unwatchable. I can not tell what happened on many plays, was made motion sick by the camera work, the broadcast crew worked poorly together and poorly independently. Its was truly miserable.

My favorite was on the sack-fumble and the color guy said it was the same person.
Really makes me appreciate what we have. That was hilariously bad. Hope the crew enjoyed their first ever football game

What got me is that several times I noticed that the yellow line they project on the field for the first down marker was wrong. One time it was over 2 yards, and the announcers were working off that, saying it was 2nd and 4 when it was actually 2nd and 6.

They definitely referred to Syracuse as “we” at one point in the 4th.
the worst part of their Mickey Mouse operation was not cutting away from the Virginia 41-14 blowout with 4 minutes left.
I noticed that too and it happened more than once.. Happened during one of the 4th down plays.
The play by play guy was horrible. Definitely a homer.
The color guy was much better and not as homerish. He actually showed some personality.
The lack of replays were bad. Camera work was atrocious. How about showing some replays or trying to figure out things that happened? Fumbles, Dino flipping out, etc.
The lack of common football knowledge was even worse.

Of all the issues to me the trivia question was the most embarrassing.
Something along the lines of: "There is one current BIG or ACC member that has faced a member of the other conference 10+ times and is undefeated in that matchup - who is it?"
It was obviously Miami (Rutgers).
The color guy goes "you asked me this yesterday and I said Pitt vs Penn State"
So he had a day's notice and doubled down.
Those two teams have played for a century - how the hell could one be undefeated against the other
Then after the answer comes up he goes "hey my answer was pretty good right?".
Meaning Gamedays is the only time the B1G network has anything worthwhile. Yes today on the ACC network was nothing to brag about let alone missing some of the 1st quarter..
Games are by far #1…highlight shows after that…other things eh even campus visits or what not I’m not all that interested in. I’ve seen radio broadcasts on tv on the ACCN when flipping by I don’t give a hoot about stuff like that either.
I made it to halftime with them, but couldn't take it any more. Muted them and switched to Chris Carlin on the radio. Much better. Wasn't as hard to sync up with the video as I thought it would be.
Correct me if I am wrong but did not their ****** deal with ESPN for a network force all the schools to foot the production costs for their broadcasts? That means SU had to build the broadcasting infrastructure and provide the on air "talent." It looks like the producer found the sideline reporter working at a Rita's water ice and asked her if she wanted to be on TV. She was by far better than the two morons in the both who they must have found drinking before the game in the parking lot. I know the ACC TV contract does not pay much but surely they could afford better than this.
ACCN was the most unprofessional rinky dink horse crap of a network I have ever seen. Everything was Garbage. Terrible announcing, terrible camera work, ads that you would normally see on YouTube for channels with a few hundred followers. Just a terrible low budget brutal watching experience.
