Sucks we aren't in it, but:

Michigan State just beat Wake Forest (ACC) 27-21 in the Pinstripe Bowl
USC - Iowa in the Holiday Bowl (multiple threads on this)
Memphis - Penn State in the Cotton Bowl
Clemson - Ohio State in the Fiesta Bowl
California - Illinois in the Redbox Bowl
Michigan - Alabama in the Citrus Bowl
Minnesota - Auburn in the Outback Bowl
Oregon - Wisconsin in the Rose Bowl
Indiana - Tennessee in the Gator Bowl

Which ones interest you?

Rose bowl - hope Wisconsin is pummeled
Holiday Bowl - F Iowa, hope USC clubs them
Cotton Bowl - Hope Penn St loses to Memphis

Ok, hoping they all lose. Hate the Big Ten schools not named Nebraska.

I’m rooting for all the BIG 10 teams except the one that has their very own fans living on our boards daily. Go BIG 10...except Iowa, go USC Trojans.

I think the B1G will show well this year...with the exception of the games against the SEC (which is ironically the only conference I root against and hope to see them have their fourth straight bowl season at or below .500).

Bama is still a world beater and I think they win, but that game has implications. There's already serious hot seat talk because of the many poor showings against aOSU - what is being said about Harbaugh in Ann Arbor if Bama wins by three scores?

i got OSUcks taking the National Title. Those guys have it all. There isn’t a weakness on that team this year. They are hitting on all 12 cylinders.

I actually am interested in Michigan and Bama. I remember Harbaugh taking shots at Alabama a few years ago.

Bama is going to kick the living **** out of Michigan, and I hope they do.

Michigan is a bunch of Midwesterners who think they got into Stanford.

Roll Tide!!!

I picked aOSU as well. It seems like a lot of the talking heads are taking Clemson twice to win it all - we'll see. I will say this much, I wouldn't put any money on the playoffs this year.

I agree. I love B1G football, and always root for the other B1G teams in non conference games. I also think those 3 matchups are the ones to watch, and I would include the Michigan vs Alabama game. It's a tall order for Michigan, and don't think they win, but I really hope they do, because I hate Alabama.

Minnesota is going to get destroyed by Auburn ..... they are over rated and should have lost 1-2 of their early games.

Alabama is light years better, but do you think they show up? I personally don't think they give a damn about this game and wouldn't surprise me in the least if they lay an egg.

I think Saban is plenty motivated and I think Minnesota and Michigan both get lit up. Michigan could hang if they play their A game perhaps. Minnesota is not bad, but they played a remarkably fortunate schedule and Auburn will abuse them.

Auburn-Minnesota is about as bad of a matchup as Notre Dame-Iowa State IMO..

You gotta hand it to the Big Ten’s sixth-best team. They really took it to USC!

Yes they did despite USC being a blue blood with 11 National Championships in that overcrowded trophy case. Funny how past history means nothing in this century.

I’ll give them credit (which you will never see an Iowa fan do), they did beat USC soundly. I figured USCs offense at the least would make it a shoot out. Does help USCs star Freshman QB got hurt. If I remember right, when that happened it was still a one position game. Either way, Iowa played a solid game and didn’t make mistakes...like normal. Congrats to them on the 10-3 season and the Holiday bowl win.

their past titles mean jack dude. Stop f_cking trolling our boards already and move on. My God. Even I gave Iowa credit...there’s no need for you to worry about what we say or think.

We (Nebraska) are definitely in the Willy Loman phase of life. :)

heres the funny part. No one is even taking about the Huskers, no ones bragging about the Huskers, no ones even mentioning the Huskers past success, no one even talking about a bright future for the Huskers or anything like that...yet here we go with some guy/s trying to stir the pot somehow (and I don’t mean you). Trying to create some BS. I know, heaven for bid we just have a decent Saturday and weekend chatting about football playoffs and/or bowl games. We have to another teams fan over here trying to start something.

Not true, I was proud of Nebraska beating UCLA to finish 6-7 overall in the Foster Farms Bowl in 2015.

As where us Huskers. Sucks Riley and the Huskers lost to Tennessee the following year but hey, it happens. No clue why you included the record as it made no difference on anything. I included the 10-3 part for Iowa because hitting 10 wins is never an easy achievement in the BIG 10 (unless you manage Minnesota’s schedule lol).
