Whats everyone thinking for this week.

Kings mountain vs St. Stephens
South Point vs Hickory
Crest vs Statesville
Stuart Cramer vs West Charlotte
Forestview vs Tuscola
Ashbrook vs N.W. Cabarrus

I think KM is a lock. SP should be a easy win but if they let Hicory stay in who knows. Crest is the first toss up for me, idk a lot about Statesville but judging by the schedule Crest has played a tougher schedule so i got to go with them. Stuart Cramer, again don't know a lot about West Charlotte. I think SC qb has play lights out and their D has to give him some chances for them to.get some pay back from last year. Id love to see them pull it out. Forestview, i think forestview's athletes could keep them in it for awhile but i believe tuscola wins this. Ashbrook could be the 1st big upset friday night. I dont think N.W. has played the same caliber of teams that Ashbrook has. I got to go with Ashbrook friday. Good luck to all the teams friday.

Tuscola’s style of play is good for going down the mountain and keeping those athletes from making a difference. Run it for 4ypc and chew up 7 minutes per drive. They’re gonna run ball 95% of the time and dare you stop their massive offensive line which might be the biggest I’ve ever seen at the 3a level with 5 kids who are over 6’3, 270lbs. I expect they’ll wear Forestview out pretty quick.

I believe Ashbrook matches up very well against NW. They love to the throw it around from what I saw at their scrimmage against East Lincoln, Ashbrook has a big line on both sides with some very good running backs. I think WC will be too much for the purple people eaters, stop 1 and you stop SC. Forestview heading up the mountain is interesting, I do not believe Tuscola has seen a front 7 with the speed the Jags have, but playing in Waynesville is tough this time of the year.

Spot on with this. Tuscola will try and grind it out every play and eat the clock. 3rd down stops on defense will be huge against their run scheme. That O line is absolutely huge. Probably the largest mountain boy line Ive seen in years…..

The Big South goes 3 & 3 in week one. Which is about what most everyone expected. I think KM wins next week easily.
I know nothing about Oak Grove but I think Crest has a real shot to advance.
South Point probably has the toughest round 2 draw of any team left. A great game plan. A lot of good luck and a break or two maybe just maybe SP could pull the upset.
