I think that it is pretty impressive that 4 out of the 8 teams left in the 3A west are from the Big South Conference. I hate that Cramer had to play with their one man gang at quarterback banged up. I think the traits that stand out with the Big South teams alive in the playoffs are that all four teams are fundamentally sound and had to play multiple playoff caliber teams during the season. There is good talent in the conference and Big South teams in the playoffs have probably played against everything another team can throw against them. The Big South has power run teams, spread teams, dual threat quarterbacks, and even a redbone triple option offense. There are base four defenses, 3-4 defenses, teams that man across the board, and teams that play coverage. The Big South is well prepared for this moment as everyone prepares for week 3 of the playoffs.
