I'm interested in registering my son for the Big Red youth camp. Does anybody have any insight or experiences to share, just curious as to whether it's worth it. TIA

Yep, done it 4 years in a row, it is no longer the overnight format, which kinda sucks, my boys LOVED that! Basically what they do is run the kids in stations, offensive and defensive, age based and then spend the rest of the time playing "husker ball" which the kids LOVE. The players now are allowed to work the camp and we have had a ton of fun getting to know the players, they do an excellent job and spend a lot of quality time with the kids. This year one of my sons is entering 9th grade so he will do the Tuesday(one day) session and then my son entering 7th will do the 2 day(wed/thurs-1st session). I like to make it fun for them, we only live in Omaha but will get a Hotel room for a couple nights and hang out like it is a camp, they ABSOLUTELY loved the camps they spent the night in the dorms for 2 nights, made a LOT of new friends, it is what it is.
