Martin is a really nice player, but we saw how a 19 and 9 all conference guy turned into a 3rd or 4th option for us with Travis.
Travis was still a really good player but he was one of the best in the PAC 12
If you had recruited Johnny Juzang, you might have made the final four this year.....
It’s interesting, reading that. What if I said “If you had recruited Zion Williamson, Cam Reddish, RJ Barrett you’d flame out in the Elite Eight.” Those are all 3 players head-and-shoulders above Juzang.
Point is, who knew.
Time will tell with both teams squads. Both teams hit the transfer portal hard and picked up some potentially nice players. Both have incoming freshman. Way too early to tell how the talent will translate on the court because the rosters are so different from what both teams threw out there last year
Wait a minute, it’s not too early. I just played pick up ball with the team and I can tell you this, the D is stifling. I didn’t get one damn point. Hell, I was only able to get one shot off without being blocked, and it was wide right just scraping the backboard.
Plus, the offense is much improved. They were able to get past me on multiple occasions with the exception of the moment I just couldn’t get out of the way. I called foul, but I ended up having to shoot for it. Gotta lot of rim on it but it went the other way.

If Kansas ran a clean program, people might respect it, or care what you had to say.
Instead the Jailhawks are skating along under the cloud of five major NCAA charges, including loss of institutional control and direct charges that your coach is a cheater. And along with that the program has a grimy recent history of recruiting players who batter women and commit other violent crimes. So, no one respects your program or considers you an honorable part of college basketball. KU is tainted, and will eventually be sanctioned as serial cheaters.

And on top of that, even in the years not playing under the shadow of sanctions for cheating, you've accomplished very little.
