Do we ever get invited to any of these preseason events (Bahamas, Lost Wages, Fort Myers, Maui, Myrtle Beach, etc)? I might settle for the Scotty Wood Tournament at Muhlenberg College in Allentown PA.

With the 20 game Big Ten schedule, a Gavitt game, an ACC-B1G game, and a Seton Hall game, we play 23 games against power conference competition. That is enough. In 2019-2020 our (Kenpom) strength of schedule was #31 and in 2018-2019 it was also #31. (Last year it was #7 but that is just because of the no OOC schedule).

Those schedules were fine. There is no point to playing anything much tougher than that.

THIS year the cupcakes are especially cupcakey which I'm not sure I like but we will still be like #50 in SOS overall.

If what you are saying is the answer, it can’t help with recruiting. BTW, does our lack of success in most years contribute to the SOS figures?
