It’s insane to think about running a XC meet at the end of January. In college, we ran at a meet in Minnesota, probably late October (can’t remember exactly as it was 30 years ago). Freezing cold and in the snow. That was not fun at all.

Love watching cross country....my youngest daughter ran it.....she was okay....good middle of the pack runner...BUT she worked really hard at it and never stopped trying to improve....and I still am proud of her and loved cheering her along the course. It is not a sport for wimps!

I ran C.C in High school all 3 years and was Captain my senior year which was the first time my High school went to state for C.C

Very proud of that accomplishment because I was the last one to qualify on the team to make it to State.
