I think a lot of the stuff that's been said is necessary but also mean and makes me feel sorry for Pope even if i shouldn't. I don't want him to hate UK when this is over.

This is most likely sarcasm but I will say Wilkins is one of the players I wanted most in the portal so I'll give Pope credit (which I don't frequently do) for landing him. Especially when UConn wanted him as well.

Yep! Most people were high on this team after Milan committed. Only until the “newness” wore off. Then, same exact thing happened before and after the Mitchell commitment. Did a complete 180. Both times.
Dont recall many being high on the team after Milan. I think most said it took us from a barely ranked (if ranked at all) team to a sweet 16 type club.
Hardly anything to get excited about.

Watched the whole thing and concluded (to me anyway) that the women's team seemed to be much more motivated and better (for their competition level) than the men's. Thought the ladies shot better as a whole as well. Not sure and really way too early (exhibition games will give a better account) to tell, but I have been wondering about the cohesiveness of the men's team. I think the only way this team has a chance to do anything will be if these guys are unselfish and really like playing with each other and for UK. Not an in-depth analysis or really informative one, just a surface "Scratch" point of view.
