Inching closer and closer to locking up a national seed. Winning either of our last two series should do the trick now.

We were one bad relay away from possibly sweeping and a few feet away from losing two today

Up until the last inning our pitching was good this weekend.

We had a lot of smashed balls that were right at someone today. We could have got more run support if those find a hole

I will take getting two of three and be very happy.

I thought 2-3 would be a good weekend.
Looking back, easily could have been a sweep or lost the series.

Thanks due to health issues that was the first time I had seen the baseball team in person since I left Starkville over ten years ago.

Seeing them in person you can see they have the chemistry to make a big run in postseason. They just need a little luck and a top eight seed.

They are and they are the epitamy of "Little Brother". What other team has lyrics about their rival that they hug each other whle singing, no matter who they are playing, but NEVER play them anymore?

All they talked about today was how much more money they are about to spend on athletic areanas since UT is and make weird chants that sound more like they are cheering for the opposition.

Just 17ing weird.

ETA: They celebrated winnig the first game by leaving. Probably 60-70 % left. You would never see that at just about any other SEC school, especially at Dudy Noble.

I asked. They set off bubbles when they score a run. There were all sorts of bubble making machines from Walmarks and Academy and most were being used by the adults and college kids.

I wonder how long they’ve been doing the bubble thing. They have “so many traditions” that it feels manufactured. Like trying to guess the number of engines on the multiple trains that come by during a game. It’s like they didn’t have anything to make baseball special, so they made up stuff. “We have 137 traditions. Not enough. MORE. MORE. MORE. Pass the koolaid!”
