On a local sports show this evening, the host mentioned that the Big 12 coaches were asked which teams they preferred for expansion . . . BYU and Houston received the most votes.

Ummm.. ...k.
Now you need to decide if the coaches opinions matter in a decision where I doubt they have all the available insight/facts/numbers. ....or even really care.
They're barely at the management level and most don't consider the big picture compared to how it impacts the school in the long run. You think Dana cares about WVU in 2030? Doubtful.
That was part of the radio discussion - it's questionable IF the Big 12 administration actually cared but at least asked for input.
