Doucet has Elam on mat 2 up next.

The end of this session was costly with Surber and Doucet losing. Doucet could not even score a point in his match. Jamison, Travis, Olejinik and Thompson won but we could have used more bonus. We will have to really wrestle in the placing matches and have some Iowa State losses.

ISU has 3 3rd place matches with 1 against us & 1 5th place match.

OSU has 4 3rd place matches & 2 5th place matches.

We are currently 7.5 points behind ISU. Still in striking distance.

I hate to admit it, but I am jealous of Iowa state wrestling. They never ever quit, even when behind. They try to push every win to a major and every major to a tech fall. Relentless pressure.

TJ and TT didn't have the best weekend but figure it out this week and be ready for nationals. Got to get that experience.

This reminded me of the Iowa dual where we found ways to lose tight matches like Jamison, Travis and Surber.
