If we finish 5th, we get the winner of Northwestern/Nebraska.

A 4th place finish means a double bye and either Ohio State or Iowa as our first game - unless Northwestern or Minnesota pulls a big upset.

Let’s go Illinois!! Would be huge because most likely we aren’t playing the 11-14 seeds but you never know. I could see anyone but Minnesota winning that game. Nebraska has been playing well

Based on the way we have played the bottom 5 teams this year I would prefer the double bye. We seem to play to the level of our competition. Also if we lose to either Nebby or NW that would be another NET killer. A loss to Iowa or OSU in the first round would be a quad 1 loss and won’t hurt as much.

Key will be. We get double bye. Weirdly. We may want no upsets. Cause if we play the 5. That would be OSU or Iowa. A loss to them is a Q1, and won’t hurt us. If we play a hot Nebraska team and lose, experts feel that hurts.

We played Illinois twice too so it helps the NET also.

With the Nebraska win over Wisconsin Illinois will be playing for Co-Champ Conference. I like our chance for 4th seed.

And that winner gets other bracket winner which is probably Illinois or Purdue.
