Totally flabbergasted they made that call in favor of Iowa.

Did nobody notice him getting blood lung time out several times throughout the match, just enough to keep getting his breath to limp through the match. He loses without all that time out.
Ironically, if Dan Dennis would have stalled a little, he would be a national champion.
Just think how far we’ve fallen since that 2010 national tournament in Omaha. Hell we should have had four national champs that night, I think we had three with Matt M, Metcalf, and Borschel winning and Dennis and Marion in the finals. Now we only have one Big Ten finalist and the future is looking even bleaker next season.
PK only guy not wrestle to his seed? Love PK, but he seems to be fading at the wrong time. Don’t see top 4 like last year, but hopefully sneak onto podium. He’s a guy who really got the most out of his limited athletic abilities, kind of like TnT. He was horribly overrated in high school because he was physically mature at a young age, and his pressure and tenacity will beat many high schoolers. Caliendo was basically the opposite rating wise. PK being top 5 pfp gave us way too high of expectations.
I think PK is a guy that wouldn’t surprise me If he makes it to a national final. Just like it equally wouldn’t surprise me if he went 1 and 2 at nationals. When you wrestle a lot of close defensive matches, a lot of strange things can happen, good and bad.
Yah he always kinda makes you nervous he had a similar big tens last year and turned it around and a great Ncaas we shall see
Insane to think he or the coaches thought he was a 141 at about 6ft. He has decent shoulders, not crazy scrawny.
His brother is a good 197 that may sit all but the last year of his career behind Bar. Joe Sealy may sit every year of his career, crazy for a top 6 pfp guy. Don’t give me this freestyle crap either. You only get to experience the attention you get from passionate college fans once, and guys like this shouldn’t be room guys during their college days. I remember someone who didn’t understand wrestling interviewing Spencer when he was starting his senior freestyle career after graduating. They asked him if he was ready for the huge crowds at the freestyle events, and Spencer set him straight, saying most fan interest and big crowds at competitions, other than Olympics, happens in college wrestling. He said he will be wrestling in mostly empty arenas.

I think my favorite thing of the whole B1G Finals was PJ Duke, a wrestler on my least favorite team, just beating the ever loving piss out of Antrell Taylor, and then doing the bullying head shoves. I like the extra stuff as long as it's not actual risk of injury.
