I, and the real world thought it was great. He didn't get into an unnecessary pissing contest with anyone. He didn't tell a reporter that the reporter wasn't worth a damn because he didn't like the question. He didn't say the NY Times or the Washington Post, our only two national newspapers, were failing.
Woody....he didnt need to get in a pissing contest when the only ones he talked to were fighting to see who could kiss his butt better. As Joe would say "Come on Man!!"

IMO it wasn't great, and it was likely the reason we haven't seen him do a news conference up until this point.
But his people have always held their breath whenever he goes off script because of his history of saying the wrong thing. So nothing really new.

The worrying part isn't how America views his mental and physical state, it's how our most worthy adversaries view his mental and physical state.
He now looks influenceable from a policy and executive order perspective and I expect foreign intel agencies are already game planning. In all honesty, they were likely already doing that to be fair.
Agreed though, he's never been the most buttoned up speaker and that honestly isn't the concern. It's when he trails off and loses his place that gives you cause for concern.

We should all have legitimate concerns that we keep electing men obviously advanced in age to an extremely difficult and stressful job.
I am 46 and not as quick or shape as I was in my 20's. I certainly don't have the stamina I did then.

I think it's completely fair to objectively say that our last two presidents have been and are an embarrassment.
Trump was and is sharp as a tack. No comparison. Trump spoke directly to the press all the time. Almost too much to be honest. Much more than any POTUS in history.
I’m about as independent as they come, and that presser was pretty bad. No reason for him to sound incompetent or lose his train of though after being coached up for weeks and having a cheat sheet in front of him, along with softball questions.
One may not have agreed with anything Trump said, but nobody ever accused Trump of being in early stages of dementia possibly. But the plan has worked perfectly and Kamala is just biding her time.

I mean he’s a woefully underwhelming leader of the free world. Not particularly bright to begin with and he’s clearly deteriorating mentally. Regardless of party, it’s an embarrassment that he is the best that could be done in the greatest country on earth.
Believe it or not, I want to help the poor and middle class too. Probably in a different way and certainly without Uncle Sam reaching deeper into my family’s pockets though.

I don’t know if this is a troll or not. Although, if you don’t see the hypocrisy and bias in the media and their questioning/framing of questions from Trump to Biden then your just ignoring it.
To expand on, I wasn’t a huge Trump fan by any means. But any objective critical lens can see the bias in the media.
You mean the scripted town halls with planted democrats asking questions or the recent presser where he had the journalists numbered according to his notes? It appears to me without a medical background that he is in mental decline. Rewatch some of his recorded speeches or conversations when he was in congress and he does not stutter, is fluent, and speaks with a passion. To me either, he has some mental challenges or hes regurgitating what he is being asked and is not fully vested in the things he is saying. Kind of like memorizing the answers to a test.
BUT - Watching these threads where both sides are arguing back and forth is like being an Auburn football fan calling out Tennessee for cheating in Football. We need term limits to prevent these career politicians using their ill-gotten power and access to manipulate the masses for partisan gain. Rooting for a politician... can't figure it out.

How do you define the media? Does your media include Fox, OAN, Newsmax, Gateway Pundit? There are biased news organizations on both sides.
FOX is the only right winged media that could be/is consider mainstream media, the rest you named aren’t. You are right, they are biased though. Bias happens on both sides of the aisle. Difference is, 80+% of the mainstream media is biased towards the left agenda. Look man, we could sit here all day, and you would point at all the right winged stuff in the media through the outlets you just named. If you were to objectively go to the Internet for news, and look at the top headlines for Trump vs Biden on similar issues that are handled similarly, you will see the kid gloves they treat Biden with. That’s just from the top news headlines, this isn’t even mentioning the media’s kindergarten questions to Biden, and the all mighty positive responses/reactions to those questions from the media. If you don’t see it, then honestly, your just ignoring it.

Of course there is media bias... on both sides. But a couple of things to consider...
- Biden has been president for two months. The border and his stimulus package have been a hot button issue since he took over, and those questions were asked during his press conference.
- Trump certainly invited tougher media coverage than Biden has. When you come out with guns blazing, calling the media "fake news" and "the enemy of the people" you might be inviting additional scrutiny.
- Trump fed the media constant fodder with his incessant tweeting. Crazy, stupid tweets every fuggin day. Many posters on this site used to celebrate how trump constantly "trolled the media". It's hilarious to see many of those same posters crying about his "unfair" media coverage.

Trump was hunted from the outset of his presidency and his stupid tweets are why we are here now debating media coverage. There is a lot of Fake News and lazy reporting on both sides. Some call it propaganda but all call it disgusting. The free press was organized to combat and report on the power centers, well now they rarely target or criticize Biden. They are lazy, they demand insulation from reproach. As always Glenn Greenwald gets it right.
So if it turns out 10-20% of the children in these cages are currently being trafficked what say you then folks? It is estimated that we are only seeing 10-15% of people actually crossing the border detained. If that’s the case we could have already have problems with no solution, and hotel rooms are not going to solve them either, it’s like throwing good money after bad.
Basically for every 10 we are rounding up 80 or so are slipping through. Arizona sheriffs are concerned because there is not enough space to put these people.
They have already caught 2 terrorists also, means 8 or 9 of them have gotten through also. Does that figure help you sleep well at night? Might as well take our guns away too, makes total sense Mr. Biden. Great work so far.
