Thanks @bac2therac !!!A10....we want Davidson to win as they will get a bid most likely if they dont win the A10
AAC....we want Houston or Memphis to win, not SMU or another
Pac 12...we want Arizona, USC or UCLA
ACC..we want Duke or UNC, there are 5 ACC bubbles, 4 projected in the field but rather not have any of them win
Mountain West...we want Boise St, San Diego St or Colorado State
these two are likely not making it but we want South Dakota State and North Texas to win their conference tourneys
the others are major conferences where its very unlikely there is a bid stealer
ACC is a weird one rooting wise. On one hand, don’t want a bid stealer like Syracuse adding to the total but on the other hand don’t want the bubblers to keep winning - and non-contender wins help diminish that awful conference. Plus it would not be a bad thing for us if Clemson does well there. Obviously - if we won Friday, our interests would change and we’d probably even want Clemson (if still alive) to be a bid stealer to help keep us out of play in.A10....we want Davidson to win as they will get a bid most likely if they dont win the A10

Didn’t Georgia run the table one year?ACC is a weird one rooting wise. Also - I know it’s crazy because Tenn, UK, Arkansas are all very good, but the SEC tourney has historically been weird with upsets. Would not 100% assume no bid stealer there until mathematically eliminated.

I did the exact same thing, haha. Good stuff.Thanks. Screen-shotted your post as a handy reference.
Why don't we want them to beat VT? It might help them get to Quad 2. Same with Nebraska win (possible Q2) and Michigan win (possible Q1)No we dont want Clemson to win
This really is the entire key here; even if we "deserve" to get in, if there are a number of bid stealers out there, that is what can hurt us the most. Its what happens most years when a particular team doesn't get in. Let's just win on Friday!!A10....we want Davidson to win as they will get a bid most likely if they dont win the A10
