I know you guys love her, and I do as well, but she's the reason for the loss tonight.

Poor shots, and careless with the ball at the worst possible time.

She is never in the weave to create the dribble drive. Actually her move to get in there was an experience move because SC trapped Danberry to keep her out of the weave and Bibby had to go help. Just unfortunate that led to the run to win it.

Missed shots in the 4th while they were making shots was the coup de tat.

For the life of me... Why no Matharu in the 4th??

She was the one who turned over the inbounds pass at the end. As for why she wasn’t in earlier, she plays Danberry’s position and we weren’t taking our only senior off the court late in a one point game. And Danberry played well for the most part, missed some opportunities late but she was a big reason we built the lead we had.

Yep, the biggest issue is our Women's team just doesn't have enough shotmakers. Bibby is not hitting shots like she did last year before the injury and AEH has not been the same from outside either. We need a couple of zonebusters.

Bibby has to be more selective in her shot selection. She cannot score consistently on the move. On offense she is a set shooter that needs her feet underneath her with a clear look at the basket. That's her game.

Our bench is making a STRONG case to get more playing time. This puts Vic in a difficult situation because we've made Bibby part of our main brand image for women's basketball.

The team showed me a toughness tonight I didn't know they had. That was the closest game I can remember us playing there. Ever.

Bibbys role has changed with T gone. Shes not a dribble drive 4 and we aren't doing things to set her up...especially when the second touch on the dribble weave can find a very soft middle.

I was hoping she and Wiggins could have played more. It was Mathura who made the bad pass at the end but in her defense we did not look like we knew what we were doing. Carter was setting a hard pick but should have kicked out to give Mathura someone to throw the ball to. Mathura knew we had no timeouts and had to try something. I don’t know where Jackson was that last play. No one went to the ball.

For the life of me... Why no Matharu in the 4th??

She had 9 17ing rebounds. 4 more than anybody else on the team. We get destroyed on the boards without her effort.

There is no need to look for a scapegoat when you play the #1 team off their asses on their packed out homecourt with the refs bought and paid for.

It was a great performance by our team.

Bibby has to play because she rebounds. I'd actually put more blame on Carter. She didn't give us enough production in the post.

My question is where was Wiggins the entire second half? She was a huge spark to get us back in the game in the 2nd quarter and I swear she didn’t see the court the entire second half.

She had 5 blocks. Boston was not leaving Carter to challenge our guard's dribble penetration, which is why we made so many layups and had so few assists.

Every game is different. We played to what SC was giving us and almost pulled off a big upset.

Lets look at it this way.

Jackson shot 43 % had 4 TO in 39 min
Bibby shot 38% had 1 TO in 33 min

It happens

Yeah our team is fine and young girls are maturing. Bibby is timid with that brace on after surgery IMO. She definitely has lost a step and does need to be our outside bomber.

We have a ridiculous amount of guard depth and they can’t all play at the same time, so somebody is going to get the shaft every game. We had a bunch of different players have moments of brilliance at various different points in the game. Our post play is what it is this year. We will struggle against anyone with great size, although our guards are so good that we can still win a lot of those games.

Vic had a fantastic plan, we just came up a tad short. I don’t really have anything I question about it all. We’re really young but really good, and we won’t be really young for much longer. Going to be a fun next few years. Curious to see how far they can go this year, because the next three years they for sure have national title potential.

There were plays to be made tonight that weren't made. To blame this on Bibby is terrible. What about the gimme layup by Danberry right before half that she threw out to the 3 point line that resulted in a transition bucket on the other end for a 5 point swing. I dont blame Bibby or Danberry, the team played hard and lost. Bibby got a lot of big rebounds and hit a few key shots, Danberry played great, as did several others. As a team, we lost a heartbreaker on the road to the #1 team and start a thread blaming a single player.

Yep. I don't blame Bibby. The 17n whistles throughout the entire 4th quarter was a bigger issue. Out of the 1st 5 fouls they called on us, only two were actual fouls. Then, when they did swallow their whistles on Carters abvious foul, they give the ball to SC even though their player slapped it out of bounds. No review.

Wow! Obviously, some of you people have no idea what it is like to come back from knee surgery...ACL repair particularly. The running/jumping/stopping/starting/lateral/vertical movements of basketball (tennis for me) making it even more precarious. It won't be until this time next year that her knee begins to feel somewhat "normal". I guarantee that her knee is tender and sore...somedays more than others...and, every now and then you aggravate some scar tissue...and it hurts like hell...and you just wonder if it will ever feel normal again.

Putting Matharu in at that time is on Vic. Coming off the bench to make a crucial in-bounds after displaying you are a phenom scorer...don't get it?

at their house.

We doing ok.

Yep, it was a great effort. But having a 9 point lead in the 4th and not being able to finish it off still leaves a bitter taste. Would have felt more like a moral victory if we had been playing from behind all night.

Kudos for her coming back so quickly, but you have to be blind not to see that she has lost a step. Her rebounding is key though considering our team just flat out sucks at it, we were spoiled with Big T and Lashes. Bibby has focused on rebounding, which makes her availability at the three less.

I had ACL/MCL surgery and it took me a couple of years to feel 95%, so she definitely came back quick which is impressive. Just think we need to get our bigs in shape, and attack the rim more. Cooks is going to help a lot next year.

Ok, I would say blame Vic then. At that point of the game we needed SCORERS on the floor, NOT REBOUNDERS. That sound better?

Definitely not Bibby's fault. Look at the box score. Carter had 2 pts, and Taylor had 2 pts. While SC's Boston had 21 pts. Boston dominated inside on offense and defense. Our dribble drive game plan worked...but it also needed some kick out passes for three's, to keep the lane clear. That almost never happened and SC figured it out at the end.

We had 3 post players that COMBINED for 6 points and 6 rebounds. That is atrocious. Bibby had 9 rebounds by herself.

Carter plays too soft in The post and I saw Vic chewing her good about it, but I guess he didn’t feel good with Morris in offensively at the end. Fact is he had Morris in for defense when we almost forced the turnover on their in bounds play and none of our girls could grab the ball. Unfortunate that Danberry had to foul trying to pluck it away from their guard who it caromed right to from the mid court mele. That was her 5th and sure would have like to have her in on the inbounds play. But then only having two fouls with two to give, allowed big glasses to out think Vic. He should have been trying to create the quick open 3 on the in bound and if they fouled a shooter instead of on the floor, he would have been the coach of the moment.

DUDE did you watch the game? Bibby was the only one on the boards....There is no way MSU is in the game without her rebounds.....

38 to 35 rebounding advantage for the team that is one of the best in rebounding margin. We were completely in it...and yes due in large part to bibby, but it's clear she wasn't alone
