There is no love lost on BethAnn Cookman, ever since that senior prom debacle.
Correct me if I'm wrong but I thought I read somewhere that they won the national championship last year for whatever division they are in. If that's true they are no Wesleyan
What senior prom debacle? I know the university may go bankrupt over a $300M dorm. How does a dorm cost $300M? UNL built the new state of the art Business building for $89M.

It's kind of hard to build up hatred for Bethune-Cookman. Thanks to them we got our lost game back. That being said, I can definitely generate and sustain hatred for Akron and their bush league AD.
Highly doubt Akron will be on Nebraskas schedule anytime soon.
Maybe they heard that the 325 member Minnesota Band road a bus for 7 hours each way, only to not be allowed to do any kind of 4-5 minute pre-game show, with a couple of school songs played, and decided to not show up. The National Anthem joint thing does not count.
What was that all about? My recollection was that the Nebraska band got to play for a while in pre-game during all 3 recent MInnesota visits, and at Madison as well this year.

Well I guess if I were bc, I wouldn't spend the money for the band to travel either. Sounds like they have a bad situation down there.
I guess I don't understand all the hoopla about playing them. I am glad we were able to get a game scheduled. But there's nothing to be jumping up and down about. We have no business playing this team except for the need to replace a lost game. IF they were scheduled for a normal non conference game say in the year 2030, would we be happy about it?
Im glad we're playing this weekend because I love to watch my Huskers! Better than a bye week.
