There was a time that I thought the MSU fanbase was informed and realistic about football, baseball and basketball as any other fanbase. That was before I found Genespage in 1996. Thru the years, my respect has dwindled. For the past three years, the input from our fanbase on this site has offered very little content that is meaningful for me.

I find it laughable that more than a few think that Lebby will not make it thru the season. I urge you to make note of the simpletons that spew their shallow opinions.

My prediction is 7-5 in 2026.

In Lebby's first season, he made a horrible decision with the DC hire + inheriting the WORST defense in MSU history? Embarrassingly bad! Lebby hurt our chances or cost us the game against Tennessee and Texas. A rookie Head Coach or not, his decisions were reasons for concern.

Last season, rather than terminate (and pay the buyout) the DC, Lebby hired two advisors that made a positive impact + bring in talented players (Gillette, J. Smith, Manning, Bledsoe, Sylia, Whitson and Mitchell). I gained confidence in Lebby's ability to build a roster.

Last season, we gave away the Texas game (thanks to Bingley making a STUPID penalty that gave Texas a TD rather than FG + the STUPID Unsportsmanlike penalty at midfield on 4th down. That's 11 points we gave away!!!). Shapen's mindless PI cost us the Florida game (one play from kicking winning FG).

Now it's the 2026 season. Bringing back Arnett has stirred some hope for many fans. I was an Arnett fan until I studied his results during his first tenure and found the facts are that his defense cost us more games than his defense won. Arnett is the main reason our program is having to fight its way off the mat. We were paying him $2,000,000 (very low for a HC but appropriate for the situation - credit to Keenum for that decision) when he QUIT midway thru the season. He quit on his team, employer and fanbase while putting no effort into recruiting. Then the ole miss dicklicker goes up the road to support our rival while collecting another two million from MSU. What would an additional $2m done for recruiting? **** Arenett!!!! **** him to the Nth degree.

While I'm on the way out the door, here is a list of known libtards sharing space on this board. **** them all....
