Regarding Love my point is he was what he was in the tournament for really the entirety of his career this far. There were other guys for UNC who made a larger impact in touney as compared to Love, including Bacon and Manek.
Love in tourney, 37% from field, 32% from 3, 18ppg on 17+ shot attempts.
Love in all of '22, 37% from field, 37% from 3, 16ppg on 13+ shot attempts.
I agree it takes confidence to gun sling like that but my point is he is more than likely to shoot his team out of a game (see title game 5/24) than to shoot them to a win.
Regarding Wheeler...it is a valid concern. 6 to and 2/5 from line won't cut it for PG in tourney.

Wheeler is the better PG and it's not even close. Love is far and away the better NBA prospect though.

I usually agree with your takes but I can’t on this one. Wheeler isn’t anywhere near Love while Bacot is only a couple steps behind Oscar. That UNC team and those 2 players deserve to be judged on what they did the entire season and they improved greatly.

If only we had Brooks coming back that would be the best 4-5 punch in history. Mainly because Brooks is such an amazing player…which everyone agrees with Baller Rondo.
Luckily Hubert Davis realized Love is not a point guard, and made the permanent switch to RJ Davis being the full time ball handler, which in turn triggered UNC's run to the championship game.

I think he's one of the guys they would recruit if he pulls out of the draft. But I think Matthew Mayer and Pete Nance are more likely to actually return to college, so I'd guess one of them is more likely to take UNC's last scholarship.
