O.k. I don't get fired up about us getting slighted normally, but I'm not buying that we aren't in the top 10. It may be possible that his companies web site would not allow more than 10 choices, but I say we are not 11 or 12. You don't win as many SECW/SEC Tourney and outright SEC championships as we have over the years and be last or next to last.....

I don't have time at the moment to email the guy and get it off my chest, so I'll vent to my MSU family.

they couldn't leave Auburn off of a poll that's on AL.com

I guess it'd be:
1. Kentucky
2. Florida
3. Tennessee
4. Arkansas
5. LSU
6. Georgia
7. Bama
8. State
9. Vandy
10. SC
11. Auburn
12. Ole Miss.

But I really don't know.

Doug says: It doesn't say Mississippi State is one of the two worst jobs. It says there are only 10 spots on the poll. I left off Ole Miss and Mississippi State because I had to leave off someone, and I get more response on this SEC blog from fans of other schools. OK, South Carolina may be an exception.

They're both included in my column tomorrow.</p>

I say: you're still a moron. You expect us to believe that legions of Arkansas and Vandy fans light up the threads on al.com on a regular basis. Riiight. Einstein could have had one poll for the West and one for the East, but that would mean the I.T. guys would charge for overtime.

Yeah, that poll is BS. To make matters worse, yes, state has had a ton of Western division championships... the most of anybody... yet, somehow we're left off that poll. Then, I think that OM is tied for 2nd with the most Western division championships and somehow they're left off the list as well. To me, it seems like that list is total BS.

Even if Mississippians don't frequent the blog, that shouldn't dictate whether he puts them on the list... idiot
