The way things are looking , now, in a short time Pike will be in direct competition with Tom Young for the best HC RU MBB ever had.
Right now him and Bill Foster are close at #2, with a slight edge in Bill's favor, for now.
Even if Foster only made it to the NIT twice in his 8 years, I give him the edge because only around 40 programs (total) made the NCAA & NIT tourneys back when Bill Foster was in charge

Tom made the final four and the sweet 16. Tournament wasn't 68 teams either. The overall winning % and 20 win seasons are not going to be touched.

2nd? In the hunt but he's got to do a hell of a lot more to complete with young.

True about needing to do a hell of a lot more, but the way the team has played the last two games , hopefully is an indication that Pike eventually will be mentioned in the same breath with Tom.
Yes it will take a lot of success for that to happen, just let's hope it does.
Just rolling with the success the team had the last two games and how RU seems to have a good future under Pikiell .
