Not sure it's the best ever but it's pretty damn amazing. I have never seen someone do this.

Thoughts?

Nice , but not top 50 or so . Best I ever seen was in person .. mid 1980's . a white dude at 6'1 jumped over the bed of a chevy S10 to win the Gus Macker dunk show in Portsmouth Oh . ( Off two feet )

You can find 50 dunks that are better than that? Come on...that's ridiculous.

Really can't compare VC's to the guy above. VC's was done in game and is one of the most iconic dunks ever.

but.. this competition dunk is pretty remarkable and much more difficult from a technical standpoint (you'd never be able to do this in game).

One minute to:
1. Hit a bankshot
2. Time the fall of the ball and your jump to catch the ball at a very precise time.
3. Catch with left, throw under the leg
4. Grab with the right.
5. Dunk.

Its cool , takes a good degree of coordination , but its not that special to me . I'd rather have in game dunks , against a shot blocker , than something like this ( but a white 6 ft dude jumping over a truck was 1 gimmick that impressed the hell out of me )

To be honest, I wasn't too wowed either. I hated the angle and it was only impressive because of timing. I could find 50 that I liked more, but that's just me.

In the non-Vince category, Scottie Pippen over Ewing is the easy winner.

It has all of the ingredients:

All time great player.

All time great player/shotblocker on the receiving end.

In-game.

Aesthetically pleasing.

Follow through/disrespect/celebration.

Ewing also went for the block and wasn't just standing nearby. Pippen also walked over him on a court with Charles Oakley, Ron Harper and John Starks on it at the time.

It's perfect.

Was at that game, it almost didn't look real seeing it live. Completely took the air out of the building.
That’s one ill never forget he posterized cousins on that dunk. I hate it that it happened, but give the man credit, it doesn’t happen everyday especially to boogie
