Best College Fight Song

I was cleaning out the support material from my Julius Caesar pencil holder and thought back on the fight songs for college football teams. As a kid growing up in Memphis I watched a lot of college football from all over the country. I became a fan of USC simply because I think they had the best fight song. I've posted it below.

The "expert" quoted in the article listed ours as one of his favorites. I've always been partial to Hail to the Victors and the Notre Dame Victory March, maybe because we used those when I was in high school band.

The best two fight songs in the nation were at Davis Wade Last weekend. Yea Alabama and Hail Dear Old State. Rocky TOp is damn good too.

Agree with this. State and Alabama have the best. I like Auburn's thumb cheer as

they call it. Normally they play it before their fight song. I'd also add that nothing sends chills like the first couple notes of Hold that Tiger pregame in Tiger Stadium at night.

USC Fight Song

The first and last part of that sounds like the soundtrack to a 'B' gladiator movie. The middle part sounds like a german beer hall song.

I kind of like tune to ohio state's fight song.

I've always liked Kansas State's fight song. When I was coaching at PCS in Hattiesburg, we didn't have a fight song so the headmaster told me to find a couple that weren't SEC songs and no ND or Michigan and bring them to him. Me, him and a few others picked the K-State one and we started playing that on Friday nights.
