Have you looked at the bone conduction headphones like Aftershokz? You can get them with mic in the "earpiece" or one that extends down by the mouth.

Anything in the Bose QC series. I got some old wired ones that I absolutely love. IMO, they aren't as punchy as the Sony's, but their noise cancellation and comfort make up for it.

I use zone wireless from Logitech for work. I like them. Can connect to my cell via Bluetooth and it has a dongle for the computer. So I can listen to music, have teams meetings, take calls on my cell all from the same headset

I've got Bose and I've got no name brand. Really not a ton of difference other than battery life and better connectivity. Bose is better, but it's not worth the huge difference in price IMO. You're wasting money on expensive ear buds.

I have used the Afteshokz Aeropex at the office daily since the first of the year for the better part of the day listing to music, phone and conference calls. Before that I was using Bose wired earbuds but I ran into earwax buildup and had to look at other options. The best part is I can respond to someone talking to me from across the room and if I need a little isolation jut pop in a pair of foam earplugs. Currently I have them setup to connect to my computer and iPhone at the same time. My only complaint is that the music quality isn't as crisp as my Bose but the speech range is top notch. I have moderate hearing loss but can hear human speech clear as day with them and somewhat better than if I were talking to you in person.

I will warn you I have run into issues trying to use Bluetooth headphone on some web meeting platforms. Seems like the Microsoft platform has the most bugs but it could be my computer as I run a docking station with my laptop. I wind up using the call in feature rather than my computer mic or Bluetooth.

Strongly recommend noise cancellation. Makes flying etc. much more pleasant. I have a couple of pairs from Taotronics that have been excellent values for the money. Long battery life, very good noise reduction and sound for around 100 bucks. Other thing that's a dealbreaker for me at this point is having a USB-C port rather than the micro USB port. Charging is much faster and the cable is easier to use and less likely to break.
Also, check the version of bluetooth. You want version 5+. Stronger signal so you can be farther from your phone, and the sound seems to be better as well.

I’ve had Bose QCs for 3 years and love them. I work from home and use them to take calls and for meetings and nobody ever complains about my audio quality. I can wear them when watching something and my daughter and her friends are raising hell in the house and I can’t hear them at all.
