28-7 late in the 2nd qtr. Feel for Aurora being basically a Class C school facing these top of the class schools in the finals 2 years in a row. Pretty impressive. The officials in this game are better than any big ten crew we have had to deal with this year. The RB for Bennington is a machine wonder where he will end up. Going to set the all class single season yrdage record with a solid 2nd half tonight

Hate to pile on but both of these teams are coached better than Nebraska

Bennington is interesting because that town is growing fast and I think they are opening another HS soon???

So, years ago I used to coach football out at Boys Town and Bennington would have okay years and bad years...but Murray Conestoga was always bad and our HC would just "Hey, if you guys want to take next week off from coaching, go ahead, we have Conestoga coming up"

Next thing you know the Reverend Shaw Moore* will OK those kids having a dance over in Bayson, and then all will be lost.

*the John Lithgow Rev. Moore not the Dennis Quaid Rev. Moore from the weak redo.

Dont feel bad for Aurora. They have traditionally been great at football in class B. All sports really. I hated them growing up coming from GINW. They always had our number. Dirtiest, cockiest team we saw all year every year.

Why feel bad for Aurora? They won C-1 a few years ago when they were the biggest C-1 school. Should have felt bad for the team they beat in the final that year. Next year they will again be the biggest C-1 school so they have no excuse not to win it all. Should feel bad for all the other C-1 teams next year.
See how that works? Excuses just go round and round and round..............

Exactly. I was up there for graduation this past May. Drove around Bennington and there literally are more stores in towns with under 500 population than Bennington which is classB.

Obviously just a bedroom community and everyone drives and shops in Omaha. Big population around the lakes

Bennington also announced donation of property in which they're going to build 50 acre Park with 7 regulation sized athletic fields
