Why would you ask Husker fans this question? Wouldn’t it be more fitting to ask your own fanbase that question?

Actually, at some point most states(not sure if they all follow the same plan) have an allowance that allow wrestlers be anywhere from 2 pounds to 4 pounds over weight, depending on what point in the season they are at and if they've made their criteria. It's not much, but means a lot to some kids. And Heck yes, I'm more than happy to see him wrestle.

Growth allowance after xmas break is usually 2lbs (but it should be by % in my opinion), and then you can add a pound for each consecutive day of competition. So on the last day of the State Championships in February you can weigh 289lbs.
