Had they not been using baseball analytics in football he would have had better players and not been in that situation in the first place.

I didn't realize the Browns were draft players based on their batting average.

Btw, which team are you a fan of?
Here is a list of how ALL 32 NFL teams are using those "baseball analytics".

That article just hits on the surface of what teams are doing. For one example, the Eagles are using analytics for in game decisions, http://www.espn.com/blog/philadelph...team-has-direct-line-to-doug-pederson-in-game , seems to be working out well for them. I don't get the analytics hate other, seems like a get off my lawn or old man yells at cloud sort of thing. The world generates a ton of data, that data is collected and stored. We have the computing power to parse and somewhat understand that data, why not use it to make more informed decisions?

In relation to this thread, McAdoo must interview well because the Eagles were going to hire him before the Giants got him at the last moment. They then moved on to their 3rd choice (Gase was the other one), Pederson. It's worked out pretty good so far.

Who should the Giants draft with their 1st rounder...it’ll be 1st, 2nd or 3rd pick

Here is a good one. Bleacher Report in what will be a myriad of mock drafts, had the Giants picking third. Browns taking Rosen; 49ers taking Barkley and the Giants taking a DE from LSU. I think the author might have used a pseudonym for Jerry Reese.

You claim to be a huge Giants fan but I'm guessing you don't know why the Giants hired
Ray Handley.

My understanding is that this was Parcells way of sticking it to the Giants. Handley was Parcell's clock management specialist and was thought to have an extremely high IQ and a photographic memory. Parcells essentially named Handley as his successor and in the process letting a fella named Bill Bellichek leave for Cleveland.

Can you tell me what happened to Ray Handley at a certain rest stop on the New Jersey Turnpike?

Yes I can. Mr. Handley was caught wearing some, ahem, female clothing. I friend of mines brother

was a NJ State Trooper at the time. Claims it to be total ********.
