Wow. Positive energy to the whole Kueter family.
Thanks Ben Keuter for your sacrifice and pulling through at Nattys. Get healthy and good luck in whatever you do going forward.
No doubt a scary moment for the Kueter family. His mom should be proud. I’m thankful it’s behind them. Simple health is something we all seem to take for granted. Thanks for sharing.

Who couldn’t see that Ben was hurt throughout the season must be blind or utterly stupid. Hopefully all the keyboard warriors and trolls go back in there den and everyone can remember that the STUDENT-Athletes are human before they start dragging their name in the mud.
For him to All American in HWT, while injured, just shows who he is as an individual.
Praying for a speedy recovery and for Ben to be at 100%.

Man, that is scary. Hopefully Tina has been smart enough not spend much time in here/avoid all the negativity, but still knows everyone is praying for Ben's health and wellbeing
Jeesh, very scary! Hoping he heals fast. I think if we all knew the challenges he has faced over the last couple of years( I only know about the hip), we would be in awe of his perseverance and dedication. Pretty dang good showing facing a surgery less than a week after competing.
Ben has shown twice that he knows exactly when to flip that switch when the lights are the brightest. 2 years in a row most were down on him, and both years he shut out all the noise and just went to work and finished off the season looking the best he had all year. 1 tough SOB!
Exactly he's a gamer and when the lights are bright he will shine. He understands the process and embraces it
It really makes posters look like dumbshits when they bash these young men for underperforming during the season. Do you really think BK just got worse at wrestling or maybe something is going on with him?! The level him and Angelo finished at while pushing through significant hurdles in their health is impressive and why they will both be title contenders/favorites next year if healthy. There is almost always more going on than us fans know about and it would be nice if posters would take this in account before posting stupid, degrading crap. Get well Ben!
After the season, I really wish the coaches/team would report the injuries these guys were going through. Not that they owe it to us, but for us to understand the hardships they faced and better understand how gritty and awesome they really are.

I dont agree. If you can possibly keep it private--do it. Why give a future opponent an advantage? Plus, it sounds like an excuse.

You mean kinda like Askren saying Iowa broke Kueter? I actually enjoy some of his videos he’s been putting out, but there’s definitely no love for Iowa and he loves taking jabs at us

Crab, I will say I hated to see a couple of ISU's guys go down like that at the end of the year. Fan of a team or not, injuries suck.

Or we could just try to understand that they are the one's who are competing and we are the one's watching and should probably cut them some slack? I don't know about anyone else, but if someone is a dick to me for 5-6 months and then apologizes because he found out something about me, I'm not really going to be in any mood to say - no problem.
Man, this should hit home to us all that these dudes are just like all of us. Puts things into perspective. Get well big man. My best to you & your family.
I try not to criticize the wrestlers much but admittedly get frustrated from time to time, but after seeing just a few glimpses of what guys like Bailey and now Keuter have went through behind closed doors; I'm going to try my best not to critique them moving forward. Some might be warranted, some might not be, but since I don't know which is which from sitting in my recliner I'm going to try my best to just keep my mouth shut from now on. Glad BK is OK! Heal up young man and come back stronger next year!
Heal up Ben! I am curious how long Iowa Football will continue to fund the scholarship if Ben continues to wrestle and not be healthy for the football season. I can't imagine how grueling it is to be in one D1 Power 4 level let alone 2.
