Hi everybody. As a Michigan fan, I am wondering how the board feels about these two coaches. Now that both have run your program for a decent amount of time, who do you want?

I like Beilein's style of play better.Hi everybody. As a Michigan fan, I am wondering how the board feels about these two coaches. Now that both have run your program for a decent amount of time, who do you want?
I backed Belein back when they tried to give it to Dakich first. Living here in Va, I knew that Belien was a very good coach. We both won when you guys took him. We both won when you took Rodriquez. We got rid of a douche bag and you found out you couldn't win on name only!Hi everybody. As a Michigan fan, I am wondering how the board feels about these two coaches. OMG, really? It was fun to watch the offensive move the ball, but I hated how weak we played.I like Beilein's style of play better.
You should give Beliein more credit than that he came in and revived the program when it was at one of its lowest points. Everyone was passing on the job when Beiliein took over even Huggins himself and we needed him more than ever in 2001.Beliein was looking to leave as soon as he got here. He was an *******.
Huggs hasn't ever looked to leave. I'll take Huggs any day over Beilein.
Love Coach Huggs and glad we have him. I also thankHi everybody. As a Michigan fan, I am wondering how the board feels about these two coaches. Now that both have run your program for a decent amount of time, who do you want?

We owe Beilein for stepping in after the Dakich debacle and cleaning up the mess left behind. I loved his teams when he coached here. Having said that, Huggins was also interviewed during that time span and turned the job down. If I had my druthers I wish Huggins would have came home at that time instead of waiting til Beilein left. I wish nothing but the best for Beilein (unless his team plays ours) but Huggins is a better fit for WVU, and WVU fits Huggins better than it did Beilein.
Bob did not turn the job down back then. He went to bed that night thinking he had the job and Beilein was hired the next day. Frankly, I am surprised he trusted WVU enough to give it a second go when the job opened after Beilein left WVU for Michigan. I would not have blamed him, but he came because he loved WVU more than the screw job he got the first time.
Pastilong needed help and called Beoheim. Jim said to hire Beilein. Beilein wasn't here long enough to take a **** and he was trying to get another job. Beilein was an *******. His teams were fun to watch and but I get sick of people making him ouot to be this great guy when he wasn't.
None of us know him well enough, including yourself, to make that claim.
What we do know for sure is, that during his time at WVU he did a very good job. Most coaches are ********. It only matters when they don't win.
I think Hardesty was the reason Huggins didn't come.We owe Beilein for stepping in after the Dakich debacle and cleaning up the mess left behind. I loved his teams when he coached here. Doesn't stop most people from calling Coach K or Roy Williams or Calipari "a$$holes". Don't think they know those guys, either. But fact is, Beilein came here, did well, not great, and was looking for another place as quick as he got here.
People seem to forget that his team blew a 20 point lead against Louisville in the Elite 8....and we shot 55% from the floor that game, 67% from 3-point range, and STILL LOST!
You serious?Hi everybody. As a Michigan fan, I am wondering how the board feels about these two coaches. Now that both have run your program for a decent amount of time, who do you want?
The story I heard back then was Huggins had been offered a contract and had accepted. Then Catlett and a big booster came to school officials and said if Huggins was hired they would never give another penny to WVU.. Our AD then called Huggins and said he had to make changes in the contract that he knew Bob would not accept. True? Who knows?I heard Huggs demands were ridiculous even for him back then..

I assure you 20% of the folks don't prefer Beilein. Saying he did a good, great, phenomenal job here, isn't saying they'd prefer him. He did a very good job here and is a quality coach. I do not personally know even 1 WVU fan who would prefer Beilein over Huggs. Although, I'm sure there out there.Kinda....I think Huggins would be the easy answer, but 20% of the folks prefer

You could always do a poll.Well...you know one now....one person on this board (above) said, "I prefer Beilein." Hence, I am counting him in the Beilein column.
