St. Louis is 100% in control of western Kentucky.
Perhaps but not all of Kentucky. The Reds have northern, central and eastern and then there are various other teams that have fans throughout the state that could care less about the Reds or Cardinals.

Im just not a Florida state fan. Braves haven’t won enough to know what’s legendary and what isn’t.

LOL. Braves are literally in the Top 5 of All Time wins along with the Giants, Dodgers, Cubbies and Cards. As well as in the Top 5 of All Time Post Season wins.

Show some respect.

The Braves aren’t even one of the more popular teams in Kentucky. Western Ky is all St. Louis. That’s where my family is from. Eastern is Reds. It’s always been this way.

Bro look up the Cardinal caravan. They travel state to state from Missouri Illinois to Kentucky Tennessee Mississippi etc. to meet and sign for fans yearly. You’re confused. We do it because our base is so wide they all can’t get to games.
As much as I hate to admit, that’s sadly true. Dad was a huge Cardinals fan, so I don’t downright hate them. I just wish Hoptown would actually carry their games on the radio instead of the freaking Reds. Local news radio becomes 7 months of suck out of the year because of it. Seriously, no one wants to listen to the Reds stink in up in August when their season has been over since June.

The racists at dd love that name. Then there's one idiot there always telling people to "wake up" but when they do he changes it to "everything woke turns to s..t" . He's so bi polar he can't even keep his supposed insults straight.
What is your handle at dd?

I loathe the Braves. “Atlanta” is not top 5 in wins.

I just really do not like Atlanta in anything. I’ve hated the Braves since I was a kid in the 90’s. Very cocky teams with bad personalities. As a cardinals fan I don’t feel I have to “show respect” to anyone in the national league outside of the Dodgers. And I hate them too, so I won’t.

As far as everything encompassing what a baseball franchise is at the peak, it’s the Cardinals and Yankees. Everyone else is just meh unless you’re a fan of teams beneath them.

We should all be members of the Cardinal Way. Your dad was a smart man that I can tell you.

If we’re generalizing the cardinals own western Ky not debatable. The reds own eastern Kentucky not debatable. In between is a mix.

The Braves are not the South’s team. Lol.

St. Louis covers half of Kentucky, Tennessee past Nashville, some of mississippi, all of Missouri. We wrap far and wide. Atlanta’s base is a lot smaller and nowhere near the following.

I’m just trying to tell you. 5 hours isn’t far. St. Louis is a really cool city and it’s not called baseball heaven for nothing.

Picking the Braves is like picking Arkansas basketball over UK basketball.

Also I’ll send you free cardinals memorabilia to get you started.
Cardinals have a nice team and history. But STL the City is trash. Also ain’t nothing southern about STL. 100% rude Yankees up there

Are you still trying to make **** up because I outed you as TnBassfan from VolNation? All you’ve been doing is trolling. Well you’re busted buddy, calling people fans of teams they hate won’t undo what’s done.
When did this happen? I need the thread link.

im in St. Louis constantly and grew up going every year. Had a friend who’s never been just get back from a weekend and they’ve planned another already. People that don’t go don’t really know from what I’ve seen.

St. Louis is a great city all things considered. You need at least a week to get everything done especially if you have kids. The really dangerous parts aren’t actually “downtown stl” and in areas where you’ll be. Union Station was just renovated and it’s excellent. Personally we go to St. Louis over Nashville, Memphis, and definitely Atlanta.

Hell it’s known as a destination for great hotels.

Ballpark village for atmosphere is one of the best in the nation for any sport now.

The city museum took 30 years to build and is amazing.

The pics don’t do the museum justice. It’s like 5 floors of tunnels, massive animals made of iron or wood that you walk into and get lost all through the museum. Everything done by hand. It’s been Called the Disneyland of playgrounds. There’s a 4 floor slide in it that is pretty insane. I can’t do half of what’s on the top floor because it’s wild. Never seen a place for kids like it.

I think the atmosphere of St. Louis and the historical nature to the city makes it one of the best. And the traffic isn’t god awful

He makes BS up. He's had the raw *** ever since Cal left Mempiss. Anyone he doesn't like he accuses of being me. He's obsessed.

Trying to convince people who have had discourse with me for 20 years here won’t work. But you are a Vol. And I outed you and so you’ve taken this Memphis route because you know how much I dislike everything Memphis. Won’t work. End of the day:

you’re a Tennessee fan, I’m a UK fan, and you play a game here that you will no longer get away with. I’m gonna put a stop to you - right here in Begok.

I have no idea. I’ll look if I can. It was on an old thread last year. I said something and Bass began his “you’re a memphrica fan” stuff. He deletes things later.
Another thing he can’t find because ir doesn’t exit. LOL, you are some piece of work Morgy. Desperate too. We both know what you are. Never lie to the guy that knows the truth.

A lot of what you say is true. If you have kids under 10 there are plenty of things to do. I lived there for over 3 years and just moved 5 months ago. I lived in south county and in Fenton. I would add the magic house and grant’s farm as great places to go with kids. Ballpark village is super nice. I have not gone to union station/aquarium since that opened. The zoo is good and free.

Having said that - my original post about STL being trash stands.

Branch Rickey (when he was with the Cardinals) was the first to develop a farm system and this gave the Cards a huge advantage. When I was a kid, they used to say, "Break up the Yankees." They never did because it was "good" for baseball to have a great team in New York. Well, they actually did break up the Cardinals. Commissioner Landis said it was "bad for baseball" for the Cardinals to have a farm system so much better than everyone else, so he forced the Cards to release many minor league players so other teams could sign them and "catch up" to the Cardinals. Also in the days before TV, the Cards were the only team west of the Mississippi River and had a huge radio following with many more radio stations carrying games than with other teams.

Just as an historical aside, I’d note that the Cardinals were also once considered the West’s team.

A big reason why the Cards developed such a huge fan base is because for a long period of time they were both MLB’s southern-most and western-most team. Thus they basically became the flagship team for country folk in rural middle America ( ie. the anti-Yankees), as they were the only team those folks could get on the radio.

Bought one of these bad boys last year. I’m excited for year two haha! I am literally that boring

I’m also a closet Cardinal fan because of the Redbirds as a kid and my hate of the Yankees. I’m a national league fan and appreciate that the Cards at least try to be the best as a franchise historically.

Grasshopper 227efi. I had a Scag before that was great. Got a good deal on this one.
Looks a lot like the dixie chopper. I've got an ExMark that I'm pretty happy with. Didn't get a bargain...paid more for it than the first 3 cars I owned total. Which might say more about the quality of the cars than the mower?

Grasshopper is a lot better made than a Dixie chopper. Much heavier and balanced. I looked at ExMark but they don’t move on price much haha! They are expensive and really good machines I hear.
