The only game we didn’t have a turnover was the NC State game, which we dominated. Every other game has been turnovers, penalties and stupid mental mistakes.
Fumble, and missed wide open sack, resulting in TD. Jesus. We need to write the 17ing book on how a team can beat themselves.
Jeez what a gut punch to start. We were moving the ball okay, turnover to a short field for LSU, 4thd down conversion on a run and beat the blitz for a TD. Couldn’t ask for a better start for LSU.
Why blitz there? I don’t love that call. It’s a tight field so make him squeeze one in good coverage.

It was completely right. It was obviously a sack if the defender even slightly tried to break down and make the tackle.
Because if the defender actually does his job its an easy sack and maybe even a turnover.

Throwing to the rb behind the line of scrimmage on a 3rd and 8 should count as a TO in the QBs stats. 17ing throw the ball past the line of scrimmage. Ideally, throw it past the first down marker on 3rd down. 17!
Seems like nearly every RB check down is quickly met with 2 defenders. If they have 2 on the check down, how are we not hitting open receivers?
It seems we just kinda suck on offense. Running backs don’t move people and seem to not have much balance, qb holds the ball forever nearly every down. Best thing I’ve seen is Mark’s run left and even then He seemingly got tripped up by a finger touching his lower legs. Leach needs to call something that forces Rogers to release early. Even if it limits his options substantially. Simplify.
Without a doubt. Rogers frustrates me to no end. First down he threw it to the covered rb while Marks was wide open. He can throw but is missing the “it” factor.
This season is being defined by the massive plays we’re allowing.
