They looked good today. They're at the stage in their rebuild where they're beating up on the teams they're supposed to beat up on.

Now let's see what they can do against the Redskins coming out of the bye. I feel like those two teams are on the same level, Washington has a better offense and the Bears have a better defense, assuming the secondary gets healed up with the week off. If they can get the win on the road it may give them the confidence they need to really get on a roll.

Best thing to do with this team is to sit tight and see how the next few games go. I saw about half of the game as I perused the Sun Times and Trib. Like I said, Jacksonville is a mess. I do believe we all figured the Bears would be 4-2 at this point and that has happened. The soft schedule hasn't hurt but you play who you're scheduled to play.

I think the game with Washington is going to reveal a lot. Washington has the same record as the Bears and neither has beaten a good team. Washington has beaten the Giants 2-4
Bengals 2-4
Cardinals 2-4
Browns 2-4.

So, maybe one team is a pretender and the other is a little more legitimate. In any event, whoever wins and loses still has a bunch of games left on the schedule. But, I think this is a good starting point for the Bears if they want to be in post season play. It would be a nice one to win.

LTH,

We were supposed to kearn a lot from the Washington game but not anymore with their starting QB not playing
He hasn't been ruled out yet. Listed as questionable and will be a game time decision.

What a frustrating game so far. How about a stop not in the red zone. This supposed great defense is playing on its toes, playing to lose.

They're going on 20 point run or will get shut out like 19 - 0.

2 DB starters out. You can really tell the Bears alignment rules have changed because of it

Bears need to own the 2nd half. We need to start blocking and running the ball. I see very little pressure on Daniels from our great defense especially when the other team isn’t in the red zone.

Pretty large gap in quality of the offensive lines.

How do you suggest they do that? They're missing 2 starters in the secondary and if they blitz that opens up running lanes for Daniels.

Looking like the Bears drafted the wrong guy yet again.
