...but Prater didn't get medical clearance to work out due to a broken foot he suffered in September while working out. That's a bummer, but kudos to Kyle for sticking with his dream.

Kyle is a guy who really came on for us last year. He battled through so much and was a total class act. I think that if he could get on the field to show a team he can play he'd stick. Really liked that guy!!! Good luck Kyle!

Coincidence.... I had a connection to Lane Kiffin when he was at UT and had a chance to tour the facilities with my kids. Kyle Prater was actually there that day on a recruiting visit.

He came to us via USC and it took a while for him to repair his body and catch on. But he never pulled the 5 star act and simply from what it sounded like, was a quality guy who did his best to fit in. I'm really pulling for Kyle!
