OL played well from first watch. Wright was great run blocking.
Run game looked great. Caleb still needs to work on getting the ball out quicker and finding the open man. Need to turn all those FGs into TDs if they want to keep winning.

Defense was bend, don't break and stepped up when they needed to.

If I did a shot for each time I yelled "Throw the damn ball" I'd be hammered. Holds on to it way to long. Then the one time he could have ran for a decent gain he rifles one incomplete at #14 whose name I won't pretend to know how to spell

Oline did play well. The running game won the game. They may have found something in Benedet.

BTW, for those that insisted Braxton Jones was not a backup, Ben Johnson seems to disagree.

Totally agree, Caleb needs to hit those gimmies and be quicker with some decisions but I will take that over the throwing the ball to the other team like we have seen over the years. He needs to find the happy medium between taking a chance and being a little to conservative but that is a issue I can deal with rather than being a total wild card with every throw.

He's showing improvement. I'll be interested to see if Ben Johnson can coach the jitteriness and franticness out of him. The best QBs are calm in the pocket. He still has a ways to go in that area. IMO, that franticness is the main reason for the still unacceptably high number of inaccurate passes. But, that being said, he is still a young QB who continues to improve.

On the defensive side, Dennis Allen found a way to generate a pass rush. They also played the run much better than they had all year. Seems like improvements/changes were made in those areas during the bye week. That's a sign of good coaching, which you did not see last year.

I'm very happy they have been winning but outside of the Dallas game it's been such a grind. The TD being called back (which was a BS flag to throw btw), the snap over the head, the numerous chances that end up in FG instead of TD's, even the two point conversion was a disaster. Then you see Daniel's hit his receivers that seem to be wide open effortlessly. Can we have a game like that one of these days please! 😂.

I am not making fun of or mocking anyone here. But reading these exchanges as the game went on was like the old days sitting in a shot and beer joint watching the game with a bunch of other men. You have a situation where a guy on the Bears makes a bad play or doesn't make a play and someone screams, "GET HIM OUTTA THERE AND PUT SOMEONE ELSE IN!" LOL. Then it happens again and the same guy says the same thing. Then someone else gets tired of it and says "Fine. Who are you going to put in in his place?" Illustrating the frustration that goes with viewing the Bears games.

You have most of the crowd angry with the game if the Bears start out slow. And some appear to even give up. Then things turn, the Bears win the game on the last play and you are left with two kinds of guys. The ones who say, good or great win!! And the others who say, "yeah, but!" I find these exchanges to, at times, be more entertaining than the game itself.

Yea, it is a good win and I can't help but think. The Bears won the game on the last play. Last year they would have lost this game on the last play...and they did! LOL.

LB3 needs the ball more. He has been targetted 12 times and has 11 catches at 13.6 a clip. He plays hard, each down. Do they really think the Little Guy is better to have on the field?

Great observation here, and I plead guilty--it is what it is. I remember years ago going back and forth with Legend LakeCtyNewt about Cutler back in the day. Some things just don't change with me. We all want to see a winner.

I think Johnson is going to make it happen sooner than later. He's not playing around. Bear cannot overlook NO, and I think Johnson will not allow that to happen. 27 - 17. Bears.

I agree. And I agree that the Bears can't overlook NO. I don't think they will. But I do think they will pound the Saints.

Let's not get too cocky. They should beat the Saints, but the Bears are on a short week having played Monday night.

It isn't a matter of cockiness. And I am not saying it because I think the Bears are that good. I am saying it because the Saints are that bad. The Saints are awful! They are worse than the Cowboys and the Bears had their way with them.

Bears are playing better than usual football. They are one of only four teams with current winning streaks of three in a row. The others are not teams you might think would be. Well, maybe the Bears aren't either. The teams are the Bears, Steelers, Broncos and Patriots.

Saints are better than Dallas. The Cowboys are the only team in the league averaging giving up 30+ points per game.

Also, Mother Nature will have her say in Sunday's game. Forecast calling for rain and wind gusts up to 45 mph.

Whose record is worse? Dallas will end up with a better record than the Saints. Yeah, it could be windy and sloppy. All the more reason to pound a dome team.

And what was up with the center exchange? A win is a win, but a horrible performance by Caleb.
I put that on Dalman. Seemed to be anxious about his assignment in short yardage. With that being said, Caleb needs to play much better

The mark of a good team is finding ways to win when your best players don’t have a good day. Swift and the OL were terrific and the defense was excellent. On to Baltimore

Hard to imagine 2 lower-percentage 4th and 1 unsuccessful deep red zone plays run by the Packers and Bears in Q1.

Ball game. Picked the worst week of the year to sheet down their leg.
