Agree or they could be 2-2 in two weeks, right where everyone pretty much had them after week 4.If they don't, it's going to be tough to remain optimistic.

I think I read the same article yesterday and you are spot on.Just read a Bears' article that provides further context regarding Poles and your above point. Of the 15-38 overall record, his divisional record to date is 3-17. They already are 0-2 in the division this year. I would say the reasonable expectation is for them to go 0-6. There will be no "taking of the North" this year.
Poles has drafted 34 players as GM, not one has reached a Pro Bowl. The Bears had two of their 2nd round picks as healthy inactives on Sunday (Ozzy Tripilo and Shemar Turner). There have been 5 healthy inactives for 2nd round picks so far this season, and the Bears have 3 of the 5.
And yet George McCaskey, in his infinite wisdom, chose to extend Poles with 2 years remaining on his contract.
It really shouldn't be a tough call because Dallas isn't very good. But how secure are you in your prediction?I think the Bears will beat Dallas this week.

I think you can point to Johnson as a team leader and he had been out all of training camp and now looks to be lost for season.I have always been down on this Bears team the last few years at the LB position and I know a lot of people disagree with me here.
But Caleb is not a leader. In the past the best known leaders seem to come from the LB position from the Bears like Urlacher, Singletary and Butkus. They have no leader.
The coach says players are given opportunities in practice but they are not practicing hard and it shows up in games.
This team has so much talent especially if you compare the Field's teams vs the Caleb teams but they have no leader.

I think he is at least on D.I dont know??
Usually you know a leader when you see one. I'm not sure on Johnson.
Browns would be my guessI read an interesting fact. There is only one NFL team that has used more starting QBs than the Bears since 2000. Guess who, and don't look it up.
Bears defense is awful, too, but Dak didn't torch them.Cowboys' defense is awful, but Bears took advantage. I think they can beat Oakland next week: 2 - 2.
Yes, they are. I also don't think Oakland's going to torch them either.Bears defense is awful, too, but Dak didn't torch them.
I think any defense missing an all pro corner an all pro level slot corner and a MLB Will look weak. That said the defense was just good enough today. Need to get some dudes back hopefully Edwards and Kyler and come back next weekYes, they are. I also don't think Oakland's going to torch them either.
Very good assessment. Yep, you take the win for sure. But we have to be careful of this being fool's gold too. Dallas is not a good team. But they were on the schedule and that is who you play. I think the Bears will beat the Raiders this coming Sunday. But I have to warn someone. If the Bears fly out to Oakland to play the game they will be disappointed to find there won't be one there. Agree, if they don’t, they get their bye week the following week.I think any defense missing an all pro corner an all pro level slot corner and a MLB Will look weak. That said the defense was just good enough today. Need to get some dudes back hopefully Edwards and Kyler and come back next week
Atta boy, Caleb ... gonna paint my nails now!
Ya, I mean it was like he wasn’t even there. The Bears took Micah Parsons out of the game. I did not see him make one play for Dallas.
LOL! Good one, Chief! The Bears took Micah Parsons out of the game. I did not see him make one play for Dallas.
I said before best HS player I have ever seen in person. Kid has game. He will do well with the Bears. I was happy they drafted him.All of LB3's touches today. I did not realize he was that thick compared to other NFL WRs. Not unusually, but considerablely for a 21-year-old.

It wasn’t as easy as I thought when I heard things were changing. I guess better late than never. Good to be back guys.Corey,

I had to reach out just to get my name back and that took 2 weeks and a bunch of emails. I'll pass on dealing with that againYou will need to reach out to them to fix.
