BB: UK vs UCF (EXH) Game Thread

[OldScratchBlues]

With our luck, Milan will go back to being a 38% 3-point shooter this year.

Starting to think same thing.

[fisherscatfan]

good lord....3 straight miss from three. a bad shot by moreno. a bad shot by wilkins. milan missing everything tonight.

Pope‘s offense turns the prior year best 3 point shooter in to a mediocre shooter.

[Catastic5]

Pope already looks defeated.

[DelkBowl]

At least we don’t have to worry about Pope coming back next year

[JPFisher]

I bet Milan hates leaving Iowa St. after seeing a Mark Pope ran offense. My God wtf is this???

Don't even start that ****. Milan has had 30 wide open treys and hasn't hit a ****** one.

But yeah, this some ********

[Catastic5]

Ughh

[Bugs092056]

Pope got his golden parachute from uk. Hope this coaching tenure is rectified quickly

[Wildcat_in_DC]

38% shooting from the floor, 32% shooting from three, 54% from the line......but pope is a great Xs and Os coach

[UKWildcats1987]

Williams may be like Jodie mee that one year. The team sucks but u tune n for him

[BlueBloodKyFan72]

Score and time please

[darkshadesofblue]

That may be game

[SECualHealing]

What in the Joseph Smith are we even doing

[Catastic5]

Thank God they’re chucking 3s

[loublue22_rivals308424]

Pope already looks defeated.

He knows what a mid roster he has, all backup plans and 3rd or 4th choices, + Milan.

[Anon668007]

lol I’m crying

[Farsight Clone]

Yeah this is a discipline/lack of focus problem with no one being able to buy a shot. No reason a 16 point game should flip this quickly and down to the wire.

That is a Coaching Issue for any sport when there is a lack of discipline

[katwest]

LSU with 6 guys beat this team by 4

I would say this team is playing quite a bit better than they did it against LSU.

[MidseasonTweak]

Is Franck hurt? Why hasn't he played

[darkshadesofblue]

Score and time please

65 all

[TX Wildcat]

At least Bryan Hodgson can bring Lewis Uvwo with him to Lexington next season!

[Catastic5]

F*ck my life

[Wildcat_in_DC]

pope knows wilkins and diallo are not winning players. has hawthorne, mcbride, and mason in.

[Farsight Clone]

Their first lead tonight

[BCD]

Go go Gadget arms again!

[HolySmokes]

Good stuff Hawthorne...show some emotion. Its dead round here

[Anon668007]

67-65 2:19 to go. UK losing

[BetterThanYou]

68-67 UCF with 1:57 left

[The_Answer1313_rivals]

Good game lol

[Wildcat_in_DC]

They're hitting everything they throw up, including some ridiculous contested shots. We can't buy a bucket. Not every game will be like this, but even in an exhibition, this is ****. Plain and simple, it's ****.

for the first 15 minutes of the game ucf as shooting 15%....the "they are hitting everything" is a pathetic excuse. we should have been up 15-20 points easy!!!

[megablue]

Our lack of quickness, movement and ball-handling are glaring.

[kyjeff1]

I know I'm having fun at the expense of others, but what we're seeing here is one of the things that was on the list of things that couldn't happen this year.

This is a trait Pope needs to shake. This is like the Ohio State game in year 1, where we looked like we were out drinking until 5am.

Is what it is, this is on Pope, it's his job to lose.

[DelkBowl]

Dis gonna be goood

[Cats4321]

Hawthorne is better than I expected.

[legalbeagle123]

Fire Mark Pope.

[Farsight Clone]

At least we don’t have to worry about Pope coming back next year

If our new AD has any intelligence he won't keep him around

[phyrekat01]

With our luck, Milan will go back to being a 38% 3-point shooter this year.

That would be an improvement over his performance here to date
I'm sure Pope has been working with him on his shot

[ComebackCats98]

Glad we started calling timeouts with 2 minutes left

[MidseasonTweak]

Pope already looks defeated.

He bet on Wilkins and Zoom and

[megablue]

pope knows wilkins and diallo are not winning players. has hawthorne, mcbride, and mason in.

It is obvious in this game, at least.

[CELTICAT]

It’s only been 120 minutes, give or take, but I think the Zoom/Wilkins back court may be an all time dog. They are the bizarro Superman version of Sparks and Rondo.

if this team gets figured out early like last years team was, then we may have a .500 season.
