the only thing diallo is comfortable doing is shooting a midrange shot in the paint. literally wont do anything else. you cant have a guy like that out there.
I really hope Pope is just giving Diallo a lot of time to be comfortable. And then after this game he has the conversation with him that he’s gonna be a bench player.
I don't care if it's preseason most of these guys are vets and Zoom and Alex shouldn't be this poor.
I hope Kam comes back and he’s a force because we really need another guy we can run at the 2
So our recruiting got worse, the coaching didn’t get better?
This gonna be another looonnnngggg season.
I think Wilkins is alright actually. I think he is uncomfortable with Diallo out there. He’s much better when it’s him and Williams.
It’s been a foregone conclusion that Pope IS WHAT HE IS. You don’t do what he’s done for going on 3 years, and the 10 year record before it, if you’re some hot shot up and comer. Pope is closer to retirement age than being a superstar in the making. This Barnhart access hire has fooled so many but I csn guarantee you it hasn’t fooled the money. And that I know as much of a fact as can be. Several of them are just consumed with football ATM, but this entire bs tenure is about to be burned down. Just wait on it.
Wilkens had several games last year where he laid an egg against D3 competition. I honestly don’t know why we were sold on him being a star
Ur right cals teams woukd at least have 5 30 points blowout wins in sec play all year, pope can barely beat anyone by 20
Our wing defense is so bad. We have people helping in the paint from the wing. Why? There is no reason to have that.
Let’s revive the Mason Williams thread and seem all the dumb a$$e$ who said he was a nothing recruit. They all should be suspended from posting until SEC play.
the only real question is how soon will pope realize that diallo and wilkins just arent going to cut it. mason will need to start and be the primary ball handler, but he will need to figure out how to play cam williams and milan together
I just dont see anything special with this team. Lack of guard play once again going to kill this team.
Pope better be looking for houses in Utah because I have a feeling he may want to go home soon.
Actually, Pope is a better in game coach and it’s really not close.
When's the last time you saw Cal draw up a play in a timeout that resulted in a basket?
Pope almost always gets a bucket out of a timeout.
I thought it was the 5 points he had vs Bob Jones, not the person, the school: my stinking daughter played them in D3 soccer. Not exactly a powerhouse.
Hawthorne is a riser. You can tell the game is slowing down for him
He’ll be telling everyone his deepest darkest suicidal ideation (that crap was really weird) by the end of December.
Grossly overpaying Pope 5.5 million a year ( would he have came for like half that?) and ONLY a 13 million buyout? Paid BYU 6 million for take that problem of there hands. Cant coach or recruit and creeping recruits out. This is Mitches true legacy. Factor in stoops and what could of been Cals buyout. And yikes!
Williams will get drafted next year because hes going to take over the starting spot and be our best player all year long. Laugh at it now but just watch. He gone.
Sweetheart, this team ain't sniffing a final four
One thing for sure, I don't believe for a second that we're half the shooting team we think we are. That's been the biggest disappointment for me so far in the exhibition season. Just horse **** missing wide open threes.
lol wilkins travel, charged, and turned it over all in one play. but yeah....we shouldnt judge this and need see games in nov/dec/jan to evaluate a guy
That would mean we had one hell of a guard
Yeah… because nobody seriously thought a top 125 recruit was going to be our best guard! How foolish of us!
Okay, Wilkins needs to just be benched for a few games to start the season. He’s just childish and selfish.
Moreno needs to get in the weight room and tighten up instead of posting tick tocks with his gf every thirty minutes.
All I see is him getting his eyebrows done and getting a wax every day.
This isn't a joke. His soft asss play lines up.
