7 for mason on a good read. after another good ready for the mid range. he is our best guard and its not close.
I think Williams is already better than Zoom. Not sure if that’s good or bad for this season lol
wilkins with a prayer of a shot and misses everything. leads to a run out. but i guess it was "explosive" at least! lol
The national media will be talking about Mason Williams before the new year.

If these exhibitions are any indication of how the season is going to go then we’re going to finish bottom 5-6 in the SEC. Texas Tech was without 2 of their players, one of those a potential All American. We have Milan, Williams, Moreno and sometimes Wilkins. These other guys just ain’t it. N’Diaye has potential but man he’s skinny.

i dont see how you can put wilkins in that group. ndiaye has been a bigger factor when you look at both ends of the court

Anyone who is in this thread and dogging this team is ignorant. I am loving this group. Guys this is d1 basketball every player you see on the court are quality basketball players. We have a ten point lead less than half of the way through. Not every player is going to play lights out every game. We have all we need.
Mason Williams has star potential.
Hawthorne is raw but can be a threat on both ends.
Njai has a nice stroke. Like his confidence. Don’t need him to be a scorer but I think he’ll get some opportunities as Ds focus on MW, Chilli, Moreno, etc…

they dont need to play lights out. but a starter should look better than crap after 2.5 games

The top players are getting clock, but you simply have to give others a look at game action.
I know it's like a practice but it seems like Moreno is just goin through the motions these 3 exhibitions. Even to the point of regressing.

Dude, with that logic, folks would never make it out of their job's probationary period. We gotta give em time to learn and gel with the system. They didn't just forget how to play basketball between their last stop and here.
Still don't know what to think about this group. These are exhibition games, so can't read too much either way. There's just nothing that really stands out. Not bad by any means, but just really difficult to judge how this team will be in real action.
