When does Pope actually get a few wins under his belt in recruiting? Let's hope it starts soon. He explained the chasing of Stokes but at some point, he has to win a few. He even acknowledged that in his Q&A session.
Yes Michael Larson memorized the patterns of the game board on "Press Your Luck," specifically identifying that the fourth and eighth squares always contained cash and never a "Whammy." He discovered that the board's light patterns followed only five different sequences, allowing him to predict where to land for maximum winnings.
his brother is RJ Hampton, who Cal recruited but he went to play in New Zealand out of high school.
I watched The Luckiest Man in America- was the cinematic version- crazy he gamed it like that. Great childhood memory watching that show.
He just turned 18 in May so he technically would be re-classifying back into his original class.
I would like to see us get Momcilovic or Hampton and bring back Moreno because one, we would have an outstanding team, and two, we would have 11,849 threads calling for Popes head immediately because he can't recruit and we end up with a top ten recruiting class lol

Momo and Moreno make us a top 25 team undoubtably- and 10-20 depending on how remaining rosters settle.

he needs to leave the summer with a few high quality recruits to finally prove he can get it done here. you can go into the off season every year 100% dependent on replenishing your roster with portal players. at a school like uk....you should be able to bring in a few top 50 guys. shouldnt be that hard.
I said about a month ago that Hampton would be the best chance for Kentucky to add a major talent and I'll stick to it. Also, I know this is a minorty view, but I'd feel pretty good about the roster if he was the final addition. Hampton would help both backcourt spots because he'd free up Wilkins to play some at the point.
So, I assume that means he could be OAD, right? Sorry, but I'm not sure how the rule works.

Yes he could be OAD. He’d be 19 in the year of the draft, which is the requirement. Unsure if he would be an OAD.
Have to believe it is not UK if he says "Think about it." to KSR. Interesting to see how it develops with Moreno possibly wanted more $$ and Milan needing his $$$.
What I don't understand about Moreno is did he give UK a hometown discount, agree to it, and then his agent/camp now want more. Was that due to the NBA tryout success?
Ky is off limits to all five stars and top talent. This recruiting cycle proves this to be a fact not a Myth regardless of money.
What does slick rick help anymore that it's legal to pay the players? I don't understand the point of him getting hired anywhere now.

If Pope brings Hampton in and Moreno back, that's a pretty good roster. Not great by UK standards, but pretty good. Good enough to make a run if everyone stays healthy.
That's kind of a trick question. Physical talent or results? Cal had two top 5 draft picks and got bounced in round one. This team does not have that, but with Hampton and Moreno, they are more of a S16/E8 roster IMO
