nah this happens with every team early on in practices. Look what they were saying about Trent Noah last off-season.
I mean you can’t tell anything from this. It’s kind of zero sum. Does McBride look good or the other guys not look so good? Read nothing into any of this until our team plays other teams.

McBride is chunky. May need to use the summer to trim down (unless that's how he always has been).
It’s my understanding that he’s dropped like 20 pounds in the last month or two and hammered conditioning. If he plays with the dedication he’s training, the you won’t be able to keep him off the floor
I don’t get why so many aren’t excited to have this kid. I think he’s gonna be very solid and will become a fan fave.
A lot of these kids have a whole new vision, when they become a Cat. It's a once in a lifetime shot, to show what you have, or don't have, on one of the biggest stage's still. The hard work will always pay off some where.
