Just a C.

There wasn't any extended runs. We let them back in a lot, etc. Diallo is a true disaster class and while Wilkins wasn't great, he seems more capable of becoming good.

Man, you guys are harsh! 😆

It was a solid "C." I came in with little to no hype, and I leave with the same level of energy. At least no one got injured!

I’m not panicking over Wilkins. His shot was not falling. He is going to play a little reckless offensively because of his aggression. It’s what he was when he was recruited. Reminds me of Dilly in a way.

More concerned that we only have 3 guards. Diallo had some good and bad. Williams played well. It’s just going to be hard with that few guys

Grade: D-eeeeeeeeeeez nuts. That happy dick press conference from SEC media days looks like a real insight into how seriously and prepared he has his team.

And the fans talking about the “great defense”? It was LR, and they missed a TON of open looks! That’s the reason for the score, NOT the defense.
We also missed a ton of open looks. That’s also the reason for the score. Played bad and won by 20 in a meaningless game. How dare they look like preseason game 1. Also our length played a huge part in a lot of the misses.

I voted B. I could be wrong but I was encouraged by the defense. If the defense is good this team will be better than the projections. We will see…it was probably a one-off but I came away more encouraged than discouraged. I’m not worried even a little about Wilkins or the offense. Wilkins is exactly who many of us already said he was —- he’s a flamethrower, microwave type. He’s going to have games where he looks like an All-American and games where he looks like a student manager. This team is going to score a lot of points, just gotta be able to defend and rebound —- I have my concerns about both of those areas, but looked good in that exhibition at least for those things.

I think the Mitchell Fiasco took alot of wind out of the sails for BBN..He was supposed to be the difference maker so you go from B to a D for me.I just don't see it with this team or Pope..Hope I'm wrong
