Ob-gyn whose business would otherwise be non-existent giving the combo to people who tested negative and declares it universally succesful. The drug combo has been administered in hospitals all over the country. Some patients get better, some don't.

From what i have read there are two situations where people with covid 19 get really sick/die. One is when the patient's immune system overreacts and starts attacking healthy cells. In those cases it makes a kot of sense that hydroxychloroquine would help. It is routinely given to folks with SLE, an autoimmune disease which involves the immune system destroying healthy cells. I'm familiar. He's not a quack. Definitely taking a riskier tack to try to slow the spread. He thinks the risks of side effects of the meds are more manageable than the disease.

I think a lot of women consider their OBGYN to be their primary doctor. Also, that clinic is more than just OBGYN. His office has been performing a lot of tests. They are averaging 2 positives per day.

I will say he's been way ahead of the curve on this thing. He was looking for extra masks in January.

He's essentially trying to be a cowboy and in doing so is shooting from the hip. When you see a physician reach a little bit outside of their specialty and advertise it, there's a good chance its a money grab. Can't confirm because I don't know him and his background personally. Not many OBGYNs are going to be the least bit interested in a respiratory viral illness, nor is their training going to provide much insight on "double pneumonia," which he drops pretty casually.
