Semifinal Game 1: #1 James Monroe 50, #4 Eastern View 42 FINAL

Ricky Goode-Wright’s game-high 20 points led the Jackets (13-10) to the victory. Girardi Cubillan added 15 points and nine rebounds.

Blake Leake had 14 points and seven rebounds to lead the Cyclones (10-12). Alex Spangler chipped in 11 points.

Semifinal Game 2: #2 Caroline 61, #3 Courtland 54 FINAL

Mykai Smith scored 23 points and Kaylen Taylor registered a triple-double with 20 points, 10 rebounds, 11 assists and eight steals, as the Cavaliers (16-5) topped the Cougars.

District championship game will be between James Monroe and Caroline at 7 p.m. on Thursday night at JM.

Caroline tops JM 64-58 to win its second consecutive district tournament championship. Kaylen Taylor had 24 points and Mykai Smith had 19 for the Cavaliers (17-5). Ricky Goode-Wright paced the Jackets (13-11) with 18 points.
