I hope you're joking. Right? Bassett did beat Vega in the past. Don't discount Bassett; he's good. Of course certain spoiled Penn State fans don't want him.

If he transferred after his freshman year, the entire Penn State team would welcome him home and he would fit right in perfectly.

That's a major point...Bassett has been 2 or more years older than his class contemporaries. A 20 year old SR in high school is actually the age of a lot of COLLEGE SOPHS or JUNIORS

Bassett will turn 20 this August. He's 19 -- which is not that uncommon, for example Josh Barr is 22 in his 3rd year of college.

BB will be an absolute beast right off the bat. He wrestles how we wish everyone would wrestle. I think he will lose matches, and maybe lose several in his career, but he is going to score a ton of team points and represent VT (or any school her transfers too later) very well. Some of the dislike is sour grapes pertaining to social media or his dad, but the kid can flat out wrestle. I'm choosing to enjoy watching him compete just like I do Jax,Davino,Sinclair, and a host of other guys who happen to not wrestle for one of my favorite teams.

To me they're two different styles. I see Bo more like the old time Iowa Metcalf thing...what Mitchell does, frankly I can't think of anything like it, ever.

Well he is really good underneath so 1. He gives up escapes which ties it up so he usually wins or loses based on 1 exchange. 2.5 would be my final answer.
